10 Firework displays around Liverpool City Region to celebrate Bonfire Night 2024

Bonfire Night’s just days away and if you want to see the sky lit up with loads of fireworks, there are plenty of displays and events to keep you happy this year.
From footie and fireworks to musical events and funfairs, there’s a ton of stuff you can see and do this Bonfire Night around Liverpool.

Fireworks Spectacular at Gulliver’s Theme Park Warrington
You can enjoy extra ride time with extended opening hours (midday until 7.30pm) alongside all the usual attractions and entertainment at the Warrington Theme Park on Saturday, November 2, and the fireworks will be taking place at 7.30pm.

Mexican Festival at Southport Pleasureland
The carnival’s coming to Southport with Pleasureland’s Mexican-themed festival. There’ll be a fab fiesta atmosphere at the park from 5pm, so along with all the rides there’s a host of entertainment from the Batala Drummers to an illusionist, a fire show and more, all leading up to a stunning firework finale. It’s on Saturday, November 2.

Allerton Manor Golf Club
It’s Fireworks & Footy at Allerton Manor Golf Club this Bonfire Night. The evening starts with ‘a groovy family disco’ in the marquee, before a fireworks display from 7pm, all rounded off at 8pm by watching Liverpool vs Bayer Leverkusen in the UEFA Champions League game. It’s £5 per person and you need to book.

Totally Wicked Stadium St Helens – From The Ground Comes Light!
There’s not just one but two chances to see a fireworks spectacular from Saints’ RFC stadium. It’s the third year the stadium has hosted the event and you can expect loads of entertainment, music from local artists, a children’s disco and facepainting, food and drink, and more – as well as, of course, fantastic fireworks. It’s on Friday and Saturday, November 1-2. Gates open from 5.15pm.

Southport Rugby Club
Southport Rugby Club Fireworks Extravaganza on Friday, November 1’s hosted by Mighty Radio and includes a festival village filled with bouncy castles, kids’ rides and other attractions, as well as food and drink, and there’s live music in the clubhouse. Always best to book but there will be a limited number of tickets on the gate, and the fireworks start at 8pm.

Liverpool College
Liverpool College’s PTA Fireworks Bonanza on Friday, November 8, promises food stalls, a bar, games, a bouncy castle, a face painter, a raffle, and an amazing tombola, and they add: “Our night will end in a spectacular way, with a professional firework display!” Doors are set to open at 5pm with no entry after 7pm, and the fireworks will be at 8pm.

Prescot and Odyssey Cricket Club
This annual firework event takes place on Saturday, November 2 and as well as a firework display around 7.30pm, there’ll be funfair rides, a bonfire, stalls and a bar. It is a ticket only event so be sure to book.

Halton Fireworks – Silver Jubilee Bridge
This spectacular show over the River Mersey is taking place on Sunday, November 3, at 7pm. There’ll be music from 6pm as crowds start to gather and, this year, the new LED lighting system on the iconic Silver Jubilee Bridge will launch the celebrations with a light show at 6.55pm. The places to watch Halton Council’s amazing display are the promenades at West Bank in Widnes and Mersey Road in Runcorn.
Hightown Club Bonfire and Fireworks 2024
Liverpool-based Bring the Fire Project are returning for a fabulous fire dancing show before fireworks at the ever-popular Bonfire Night celebrations at Hightown Club in Thirlmere Road. As always, it’s on November 5 – Tuesday – and there’ll be food and a BBQ, stalls and games.

Moreton Bonfire and Fireworks Night
Moreton Hills Golf Centre’s doubled the spectator area this year so more people can enjoy its bonfire and fireworks night on Saturday, November 2. The bonfire will be lit between 6-7pm, with the fireworks starting at 8pm. As well as a display, there’ll be plenty of food and drink, and funfair rides.
