While we can’t deny there’s nothing like the thrill of being at Aintree for the Grand National Festival, the fun doesn’t stop when the horses have romped home.
Liverpool is always buzzing around the time of the National, and there’s a few post-race parties that’ll be a dead cert for a great time.
Koukash Bar & Grill at DoubleTree by Hilton

Race lovers at Koukash know the celebrations don’t stop at the finish line so they want to keep the excitement going with an unforgettable After Racing Party on Saturday, April 5. For £49 you get a welcome glass of fizz and a gorgeous three-course meal before hitting the dance floor as their live DJ keeps the party going all night long. So whether you’ve been trackside or watching the races in town, it’s a great way to round off your Grand National experience in Liverpool.

Dicey Reilly’s

Dicey Reilly’s Irish Sports Bar’s taken down the Paddy’s Day bunting and is under starters orders for a bumper Grand National Weekend. With all the races being shown live across 10 Ultra HD TV’s, 4 snugs with private screens and a giant 3-metre screen, the atmosphere is set to be electric for none race-goers and those making the trip to Aintree who are looking to carry on the party afterwards. There are special drinks packages, themed cocktails and live music scheduled from 7pm to make sure whether you backed the winner or not, you’ll have a great end to your day in one of Liverpool’s favourite Irish bars.

As well as Bottomless Brunch with a ‘races’ twist on Grand National Day, Mason’s on Seel Street’s created the perfect evening to round off a day in the stands. It’s taking bookings now for its hugely popular ‘Burlesco’ dinner show from 8pm until 1am. Paying homage to the iconic Studio 54, where burlesque meets disco, the show’s an unforgettable lively dining experience and guests can choose three small plates from the tapas infused menu along with three drinks for £45 per person, or four small plates and three drinks for £49.95 per person.

Horseplay at Frederiks

Freds is hosting Grand National After-Parties on Friday and Saturday, April 4-5. The post-race party on Ladies Night with GloryTo will have some of the biggest tracks from the queens of the dance floor, while National Anthems on Saturday will be a night full of epic disco classics. Both events start at 9pm till late and are free, but reservations are recommended to secure a table.

Alongside an onsite pop-up, BOXPARK Liverpool’s hosting a packed series of events including post-race parties like the one on Ladies Day, April 4. On from 6pm-1am, Paradisco will be curating a brilliant blend of disco and classic house beats brought to you by celebrated DJs including Ant Chandler, Sie Austin and some special guest performers. BOXPARK’s also got post-race pick up packages that take you from Aintree Racecourse and back to its Cains Brewery Village venue and include BOXBUS transport, venue entry, a food voucher and two drinks vouchers to keep the celebrations going.

Whether you’re a seasoned race fan or you just love a good party, this event is your front-row seat to all the action from Aintree – and after! Being held on Grand National Day itself, April 5, you can start with a glass of Prosecco on arrival, before enjoying a deluxe afternoon tea, and big screen action from the races. There are live performances from Ebie Isaacs and Michael Anthony, guaranteed to keep you on your feet between races and until 9pm.

Book a table at the Sir Thomas Street venue on either Friday or Saturday of the Grand National Festival weekend and it’s yours for the night. To celebrate Aintree 2025 Jam is offering a two-course luxury evening meal with Prosecco on arrival £39, and live music to celebrate the city’s big event. There are drinks only tables available too.

You can join the Warbreck Moor team for a post-race party every night of the Grand National 2025 Festival. From 4pm Thursday to Saturday, DJ Taylor will be waiting to get the party started and there’ll be live performances too. The Queens is planning ‘to blow the roof of our marquee for the BEST unofficial afterparty yet’, and entry is free.
