We dared to dream, we got behind hashtags such as #WaistcoatWednesday and we were sure it was coming home, but it just wasn’t to be.
We’re gutted, but we can’t be down for too long because wait til you see what we’ve got to look forward to this summer in Liverpool. Dry your eyes and get ready to throw some annual leave in because we’ve got more culture, music, amazing food and festival fun than you can shake a shin pad at!

1 – LIMF 2018
The best value concert in history is just around the corner, so dry your eyes and get your £% advance ticket to LIMF 2018 and see more than 70 acts perform live in the middle of Sefton Park. 2 – Love Island Drama
If you’re going to miss sitting engrossed in front of the telly, don’t worry we’ve got the perfect replacement for world cup action, Love Island drama! There’s still loads episodes left and as the islanders test their so called ‘loyalty’ to be crowned winners, we’re hoping for another relatable hashtag….#ThongThursday #FlipFlopFriday anyone? 3 – Brand New City Dining

5 – Premier League 18/19
Ready for another footy fix? With Jordan Pickford back on Merseyside after a sterling World Cup performance, Everton head to the midlands to take on Wolves on 11th August, and Liverpool kick start their 2018/19 season at home against West Ham on 12th. Fixtures listings here.
6 – Liverpool Pride
The city will come together again at the end of July to celebrate the LGBT+ community with a two day extravaganza including the annual Pride March, live music from Sophie Ellis Bextor and plenty of brilliant entertainment. Full line up here.
7 – King or Queen of Liverpool Castle?
Did you know Liverpool used to be surrounded by castles? This summer the Lost Castles project will bring together a whole load of cardboard, tape and community spirit to build these mega structures for all to see and enjoy. Who wants to build a fort? Info here.
8 – The Great Cadbury Debate
