If you’re into trends, beauty tips and VIP goodies, check out our ten reasons to head on down to The Curve Fashion Festival this weekend and get your style fix.
– The Headliner. Take it from us, you’ll want to meet the face of this years festival, Hayley Hasselhoff, because she’s fab!. Hayley will not only be meeting and greeting festival goers and chatting about body confidence, she’s also debuting her brand new collection Elvi (featuring some versatile tailoring pieces) on Saturday morning. Read our Kate’s interview with Hayley here.
– Jump Onboard. If you’re travelling into the city from around the country, take advantage of a 25% discount offer from Virgin Trains by booking your Curve tickets and travel here. More pennies for prosecco!
– Strike A Pose. There’s a great selection of catwalk shows planned and you’ll be front and centre to view Holly Hagan’s brand new collection for ‘Want That Trend’ as well as shows from River Island, Yours Clothing and Boohoo. Dont forget your sunglasses and ‘It’ bag!
– What Lies Beneath. The Curve Fashion Festival celebrates positive body image and its not just about the trends we wear on the outside. Fashion label Navabi will be showcasing a stunning range of lingerie including mesh and lace baby dolls with a full range of cup sizes. Phwoar!
– Refuel with Style. It’s hard work all this shopping, beautifying and generally being fabulous you know! And once you’ve wandered around the Fashion Market Hall, you’ll be ready to chill out in style. Luckily for us the event organisers have arranged some bubbly refreshments and we’ll be heading directly to the Champagne & Scones stall because that’s just a match made in heaven isn’t it?
– Celeb Spotting. The stars are heading to Liverpool this weekend! With a dedicated Meet & Greet area, you could be chatting telly with Gogglebox’s Sandi & Sandra, having a giggle with TOWIE’s Gemma Collins and swooning over the hottest trends with Chanelle Hayes. 7 – Boost Your Self. The Curve Fashion Festival is about more than just clothes. This year’s event has a dedicated How to Stage: featuring bloggers, celeb stylists and speakers such as Danielle Vanier and Hayley Stewart who will be encouraging you to ‘throw out the rule book’ because ‘You Can Wear That‘ and frankly that’s exactly the kind of positive, upbeat styling advice we love!
– The C-Bomb. We’re gonna drop the C-bomb because even though you don’t want to admit it, Christmas is just around the corner! Fashionistas will be some of the first around the country to pick up some sparkly inspiration with a ‘first-look’ at winter collections from High Street brands such as River Island, M&S and Simply Be. When we say Christmas, you say PARTY!
– VIP. We love a bit of glamour and there’s no way we’re missing out on VIP tickets for the best seats in the house at the catwalk shows, brilliant freebies (inc Fake Bake) and of course access to the VIP lounge for bubbles having shopped, been pampered and lusted over all the new season collections.
– Fashioinistas Unite. The Curve Fashion Festival prides itself on creating a positive, inclusive event that inspires and encourages women of all shapes and sizes to come together to celebrate in one big, happy community. Even if you’re heading to the festival on your own, you’ll definitely leave with a bunch of new friends.
If you haven’t already, get your tickets HERE., and we’ll see you bright and early on Saturday morning for a full day of festival Fashion. Under 14’s go free to the festival too so why not take little sisters, brother, nieces or nephews along too?
