If you are looking for the ultimate relaxing retreat, a visit to Maya Blue Wellness at The Titanic Hotel is a must. Relax, refresh, recharge, it says – and who are we to argue? The Spa at Hurlston Hall offers a wide selection of handpicked treatments designed to make you look and feel great including special packages like ‘Me Time’ which offers a 30-minute treatment, and use of the facilities (pool, Jacuzzi, sauna and steam room etc) from £51. Other day spa packages include lunch, with maybe a glass of fizz? It’s open to members and non-members.

Set within the gorgeous greens of the golf resort and close to the beaches and woodlands for which the area’s famed, the spa at Formby Hall is the perfect place for a mind and body overhaul.
