The Easter holidays are just around the corner and whether you are looking for family fun, or a kidsâ free night, there are lots of ways to enjoy a day or evening out in our region.
Here is our pick of ten of the best ways to have fun this Easter around Liverpool.
The Very Merry Unbirthday Bash! – Southport Market
The kids can join the Mad hatter, white rabbit, Cheshire Cat and Alice for an Easter eggs-travaganza like no other at Southport Market. Including games, dancing, crafts and the iconic chocolate party.

Church Farm, Thurstaston, Wirral
The ever-popular Church Farm re-opens after its seasonal break on 29Â March with fun for all the family.
The kids can enjoy a tractor ride and feeding the animals and there is an Easter egg trail March 29 â April 14.
Using the puzzle page in your pack, you can make your way around the farm to find and solve the eggy clues and fill in the answers on your sheet. There are activities and games to play along the way and it’s great fun for the whole family with a chocolate reward on completion
The Easter Activity Pack is ÂŁ3.95 and is available to purchase when pre-booking tickets, or on arrival at the farm admission kiosk (while stocks last).

Easter Experience Days at Acorn Farm, Depot Road, Kirkby
There is Easter fun on the farm for the family during the holidays.
The kids can enjoy meeting the animals as part of a farm experience day, or how about a horse day for beginners?

Easter Giant Duck Hunt – Martin Mere Wetland Centre, Burscough, Lancashire
There are 20 giant ducks and their five real-life friends hidden around Martin Mere Wetland Centre.
Each little hunter will be given an activity sheet on arrival, which will take them on a trail around the grounds.
They can search high and low, and use all their hide-and-seek skills to find each one and work out which cheeky yellow duck is still missing. Itâs ÂŁ1 a go and thereâs a tasty treat for the detectives who find them all.
The event will take place from March 29 – April 14.

Kaleidolab Interactive Workshop – Eureka Science and Discovery, Wallasey, Wirral
Youngsters can embark on a captivating journey of discovery with the interactive science show.
In the show âKaleidoLabâ, they will embark on an illuminating adventure to find out more about light. Through interactive experiments and captivating demonstrations, experts will unveil the fascinating secrets of light while having a blast along the way.
Workshops take place: Friday 29th, Saturday 30th, Friday 5th, Saturday 6th, Friday 12th, Saturday 13th, 11am, 12 noon, 1pm, 2pm, 3pm.

Easter Adventures at Speke Hall Garden and Estate
Make your way along the Easter trail and find 10 nature-inspired activities for the whole family amid the beauty and history of Speke Hall’s gardens and estate. The trail takes place between March 23 and April 5, from 10.30am to 3.30pm.
During the bank holiday weekend, the property will open at 10am. For the rest of the Easter trail period, the property will open at its usual time of 10.30am. The Speke Hall mansion itself will open at 12.30pm Wednesday to Sunday throughout the Easter period.
Normal admission. plus ÂŁ3 per trail, includes a chocolate egg, or a vegan Free-From chocolate egg, both made using cocoa from Rainforest Alliance Certified farms.

Easter Eggstravaganza – Farmer Tedâs, near Ormskirk, Lancashire
Get ready for a day filled with fun activities for children of all ages. Meet the Easter Bunny, visit Easter Street with lots of photo opportunities, enjoy the Easter Dance Party, meet dinos Titan and Vinny, find the golden egg to win a prize and much more.

A trip to Seftonâs seaside
We are blessed with some of the most gorgeous stretches of sand in Merseyside and a day out to the seaside is always a winner, whatever the weather.
Southport, Ainsdale, Formby and Crosby beaches are all easily reached by Merseyrail. If you do have to drive, remember parking around Crosby and Formby can be very busy, with the carpark at Formby filling up quickly on popular days.
On beach parking at Ainsdale beach will reopen from March 29Â (Good Friday) but Southport beach carpark remains closed due to the unsuitable condition of the sand. It costs ÂŁ10 per day to park at Ainsdale beach, reduced to ÂŁ5 after 4pm. Payment is cashless.
Please check tide times in advance of visiting any or the regionâs beaches.
Meet the dinosaurs in Southport
Get ready for some prehistoric fun when Southport becomes DinoTown this spring.
Visitors will get the chance to come face-to-face with 15 brick-built dinosaurs, made using more than 550,000 toy bricks.
The beasts will be roaring into the town centre from March 29Â – April 14.
The BRICKLIVE BRICKOSAURS will provide a jaw-dropping experience for children, families, and dinosaur fans alike.
DinoTown is being organised by Southport BID (Business Improvement District).

Claremont Acoustic Session – Claremont Farm, Wirral
Featuring local artists, the Acoustic Sessions are back for 2024 and promising to be bigger than ever. The first event with Harry James Music, is on Sunday March 31 at 7pm.
You will experience the best local acoustic talent around, from chilled out acoustic vibes to an all-out upbeat singalong. Food is available from the fantastic DOUGH BROS there will be two fully stocked bars.
Free parking is available at the Farm.
