You’re going to be spoiled for choice again this Autumn as there’s so many brilliant events to get involved in, right across the city.

From Club classics to family Halloween fun and a bit of 90’s girl power, we’ve compiled this handy list of 10 unmissable events to check out this October.

Liverpool Soul Fest

Liverpool Soul Fest is a celebration of soul culture through music, food, fringe events, dance and so much more. With events taking place across three different venues (Heebies, Arts Club and District House) on Saturday 8th and Sunday 9th October, the festival is a feast for the senses. There’s a whole host of acts playing across the two dates from local bands like Deliah and Mersey Wylie to international recording artist Lemar. Tickets still available here.

NWFF

The Guide Liverpool NWFF

The North West Fashion Festival is a high-profile fashion & beauty event bringing together the North West’s leading designers and retail brands in luxury style. NWFF will take place at the iconic St Georges Hall, 22 and 23 October 2016, and will feature a show-stopping fashion exhibition, which features both indoor and outdoor events, a luxury shopping experience, VIP Champagne Lounge, Beauty Bazaar pamper suite and live performances and DJs throughout the weekend. Team Tony Barton Presents

Do your bit for charity and support The Bloom Appeal as Team Tony Barton Presents Club Classics at Constellations on Saturday 7th October from 8pm. The line-up is insane with local DJ’s including our very own Lee Butler and none other than legendary vocalist, Bizarre Inc’s Angie Brown! There’s something for ravers and chillers with the main room and the outdoor vinyl lounge! Tickets are only ÂŁ10 and are available here.

Capital FM are kicking off the spookiest time of the year with an exclusive gig right here in Liverpool. With a stellar line-up of international acts and DJ’s including The Chainsmokers, Anton Powers, Kungs, Martin Solveg and Sigma, they’re going to be throwing one hell of a party. Vevo Halloween is bringing all your deepest darkest fears to Bramley-Moore Dock in Liverpool on October 29th 2016. With full live performances from AURORA, Blossoms, Izzy Bizu, Jack Garratt plus the awesome Zara Larsson this is guaranteed to be the biggest party of the year.

Ditch the Witch and embrace the sugar skulls at Constellations as Rebel Soul presents ‘Day of The Dead’ Halloween Fun for all The Family. Taking place on Saturday 22nd October this year’s theme will focus on Mexican folk tales and traditions, as they celebrate DĂ­a de los Muertos. There’s tonnes to get involved in from  Arts & Crafts, Dress Up, Games, Music, Face Painting, Performance and of course Food & Drink. Hark back to the 90’s with a night out at the O2 Academy. Edgy girl band, All Saints are bringing their Red Flag tour to Liverpool on Tuesday 11th October at 7pm. With a huge back catalogue of hits from ‘I Know Where It’s At’ and ‘Black Coffee’ to the chilled out ‘Pure Shores’ that was part of 90’s cult film ‘The Beach’ soundtrack, the long awaited new album, Red Flag will have fans snapping up tickets in no time. Absolutely Fabulous Gin Festival

Enjoy an evening sampling a vast array of Gin in the stunning surroundings of Croxteth Country Hall and Park at the Absolutely Fabulous Gin Festival this Autumn. With cheese and continental meat platters to accompany the drinks, this a great alternative to pre-drinks! There are three bookable sessions running from Friday 22nd October 6pm right through until midnight on Saturday 23rd October. Tickets are ÂŁ10 available here and the event is over 18’s only. 

 

Liverpool Music Week

Ten years on from its debut in the music capital of the world and Liverpool Music Week is now one of the biggest indoor, multi venue festivals on the planet. In the past the likes of Kasabian, Madness, Two Door Cinema Club, Noah and the Whale, Florence and the Machines & Vampire Weekend have played, proving that this festival really does bring the talent to the city. This year our own Louis Berry, Clean Cut Kid & She Drew the Gun join Warpaint, Dinosaur Jnr & John Carpenter for ten days of incredible live music. Sister Act comes to the Empire

Habit’s at the ready! One of our favourite movies (turned stage shows) is heading back to Liverpool and this time it’s bringing Alexandra Burke with it. Sing Hallelujah as Sister Act returns to the Liverpool Empire.  You have a full week to go and see the world’s best loved Nuns in all their singing and dancing glory. It kicks off on Monday 10th October and is here until Saturday 15th with matinees on Wednesday & Saturday. More info at the Empire website here.
