From sound cinema screenings to ghost hunts and musical treats (and tricks?!) there’s tons to help you celebrate this spooktacular season – and here’s our devilish dozen.
Eyes down for a Bingo Lingo Halloween Special and Stranger Things Halloween Special at Camp and Furnace
Camp’s ‘different breed of bingo’ will have a spooky Halloween theme on Friday, October 28 and, if that’s not ‘spooky’ enough for you, maybe its Stranger Things Halloween Special will stir your soul with fancy dress, themed cocktails, Halloween treats and a hellishly good 80s classic soundtrack.
Crack a Murder Mystery – The Body Snatchers: Halloween 2022 Special at the Everyman
Not for the faint-hearted is this interactive theatrical Halloween Special Murder Mystery Show at the Everyman. It’s a night – well, there are four from Friday, October 28 to Monday, October 31 – of secrets, deceit, missing bodies and murder, and it’s your job to help crack the code.
Get your teeth into Dracula
The Capstone Theatre is the setting for a performance that’ll leave you dying for more! The Bill’s Jon Iles joins low clarinet specialist Sarah Watts for a 60-minute adaptation, Dracula Bite Size, on Friday, October 28.
Party at Punch
In Demand Radio presents Friday Night Live at Punch Tarmey’s on Friday, October 28, from 6pm until the bewitching hour of midnight. There’ll be music, drinks and a horrifyingly good atmosphere in this happening special in The Courtyard this Halloween in Liverpool
Be the belle – or the beast – at Murphy’s Distillery Halloween Ball 2022
DJs Robyn LQ and Mollie Lucock will be playing the best Halloween music and its bartenders will be serving spooky cocktails for one of the city gin distillery’s best nights. Not a must but ‘strongly encouraged’ is fancy dress but be warned, they reckon you’re gonna have to get thinking about some gruesomely good get-ups to beat last year’s crowd!

For an all-day-long spooky rave, head along to the Circus Halloween Party at Blackstone Street Warehouse. Don your scariest costumes and expect an awesome line-up of top-notch house or electro tunes, from 2pm on Saturday, October 29.
Enjoy a spellbinding night at Liverpool Disco Festival Halloween Special
There’s already a scarily good line-up with Dave Lee, Melvo Baptiste, Ron Carroll and Jamie 3:26 as well as another headliner to be announced soon for this great day to night Halloween special at Ten Street Social’s new Arena. The venue will be dressed for Halloween and there could be prizes if you do too, plus there’ll be acrobatic and stage performances on Saturday, October 29.

The Spare Rib is back this Halloween to raise hell with a night of scarily good burlesque, drag and cabaret at Scale. It’s an early one to get you in the mood, on Friday, October 14.

As the dark nights close in the Lady in Black returns to Speke Hall. There’s Annihalation, a zombie paintball experience where you head out into the wastelands of Farmaggedon to hunt Zombies, an on-site bar – The Zombie Arms with ‘Freakston’ ale – Scary-oke, fearground rides, and more.

You’ll be feeling the hairs at the back of your neck stand up when this Halloween Immersive Cinema Scare Attraction Experience comes to Wav Liverpool in Glegg Street this Halloween weekend – and you wait in fear of what’s next! As well as a full-on movie experience, there’ll be choreographed live acting horror scenes, games, and fiendish food and drinks… and you’ll decide what to watch with a Scare-O-Meter vote.
