Pixey, The Jacaranda Club, Slater Street
An intimate album launch show from the multi-instrumentalist from Liverpool as she launches her new record Million Dollar Baby.

Oh My God! It’s The Church, Future Yard, Birkenhead
A live rock n roll tour de force fronted by Pastor The Right Reverend Michael Alabama Jackson, with support from Sochi + Dyanstain.

Birkenhead Live, Future Yard, Birkenhead
Two days of up and coming indie bands. Featuring: Deco, Delights, Fiona Lennon, Honey Motel, King Nun, Megan Wyn, Muddy Elephant, Spinn, The Clause, The Covasettes, The Guest List, The Outcharms, The Manatees and Tom A Smith on Saturday. Dirty Blonde, Lissy Taylor, Sam Scherdel, Stanleys, Swim School, The Clockworks, The Heavy North, The Mercians, The Rills, The Rosadocs, The Silver Lines, The Zangwills and Wull perform on Sunday.

Will Young, Jacaranda Baltic
An album launch show from the singer who first found fame on X Factor but has gone on to forge a hugely successful career with his soulful brand of pop.

Red Rum Club, Salt and Tar, Bootle
The local heroes return for a hometown show after last year’s epic gig in the rain. This time they are joined by another Liverpool favourite, The Farm as well as Keyside, who are tipped to be one of the next big things.

Status Quo, Salt and Tar, Bootle
The British rockers play Salt and Tar as part of the three-day festival.

Tom Jones, Salt and Tar, Bootle
The Welsh favourite plays two sold out nights on Bootle’s canalside on the final night of the three day festival.

Kiefer Sutherland, Camp and Furnace
The actor famous for 24 and Lost Boys, is also an accomplished blues/country singer and brings his band to Liverpool this month.

Liverpool Celebrates Mathew Street Festival
Liverpool’s legendary Mathew Street Festival is celebrated in a brand-new format at the iconic Pier Head.
Over the weekend you can enjoy performances from:
Holly Johnson, Lightning Seeds, Tea Street Band, Space, China Crisis and other local acts on Friday.
Saturday, Party at the Pier with The Jacksons, Boyzlife, Bongo’s Bingo Experience with Jonny Bongo, N Trance and other local acts.
Then on Sunday local acts will entertain before the Cavern takeover on Monday.

Future Now Festival, various venues, Birkenhead
The festival returns to Birkenhead at various venues including Birkenhead Town Hall, Future Yard, and Joy.
Everything Everything are the Saturday Town Hall headliner, with Nadine Shah closing the show headlining the Town Hall on Sunday. Nubiyan Twist return to Future Yard to headline the Garden stage on Saturday and Birkenhead’s-own She Drew The Gun headlines outdoor on Sunday.
They join a line-up of Future Yard favourites old and new including Jane Weaver, bdrmm, Hamish Hawk, The Lovely Eggs, Girl Ray, Night Tapes, Chalk, Projector, Van Houten, Trout, University, Genn, MAN/WOMAN/CHAINSAW, Revival Season, Melin Melyn, YARD, Bored at My Grandma’s House, Blue Dolphin Wranglers, Blue Jean, Spielmann, Laura J Martin + Dog Unit.
