Here are 14 things you can do to celebrate the festive season in style.
Pick your tree, shop for foodie gifts and enjoy breakfast or lunch at the farm
Claremont Farm is one of Wirralâs best farm shops and will take all the stress out of picking your tree.
Browse the well-stocked farm shop afterwards and warm up with a hot breakfast or bowl of winter soup.

The Church Farm Santa Experience
The Santa Experience is a 60-minute journey around the farm with colourful characters, real reindeer, magical lighting, special effects and a very personalised visit to see Santa.
The journey takes place on the tractor and on foot at a number of locations around the farm.
Each paying child* will also receive a chocolate gift from Santa and a marshmallow to toast on the fire.
There will be a refreshment area just before the experience starts where you can buy drinks and snacks and there will also be some photo points setup too.
*The free under two ticket doesn’t include personalisation, a chocolate gift or marshmallow. If you would like these then just book your under two in as a child instead.

Browse the stalls at Brimstage Hall and Courtyard
Christmas is coming to Brimstage with a festive market and grotto.
As well as local crafts and beautiful gifts, plus homemade cakes, there will be live music and children’s donkey rides. Visitors can also enjoy festive drinks and hot mince pies.
The event takes place on Saturday 3 December between 10am and 6pm, and Sunday 4 December between 10am and 4pm. Parking and entry to the event is free.
The eventâs nominated charities include Brimstage Defibrillator and Me Again.

Panto fun at the theatre
A night at the panto is the perfect family fun for Christmas and you can enjoy The Further Adventures of Peter Pan – The Return of Captain Hook at the Floral Pavilion in New Brighton from 6 December â 5 January.
The production promises sparkling sets, lavish costumes, amazing song and dance numbers and giggles galore.

Dazzle at the Snow Ball
Get your friends or workmates together and enjoy a brilliant festive night out at the Floral Pavilion in New Brighton.
At the Snow Ball themed night you can enjoy a festive cocktail before tucking into a three-course meal with crackers. Have fun in the photo booth then hit the dance floor.

Breakfast with Santa

Mosh Tots Christmas Special
The Mosh Tots Band are getting together for a Christmas Special celebration.
There will be Rudolphâs Present Hunt and a full set of Elvesâ Christmas Crafts to get involved with.
Plus, everyone is encouraged to come dressed in their most festive outfits.
The kids can enjoy the fun at Future Yard, 75 Argyle Street, on 15 December, 11am-1.30pm.

Shop at the farmersâ market
The West Kirby Farmersâ market takes place on the fourth Saturday of every month which means you have one more before Christmas.
Stock up on food from 20 local producers.
St Andrews Church hall and car park, 9am -12noon, Graeme Road, off Meols Drive.
Visit Santa in his Winter Wonderland
The kids can meet Santa this Christmas at Gordale Garden Centre.
They will take a magical adventure through the wonderland before reaching the enchanting grotto.
This is a charity grotto run by The Hospice of the Good Shepherd, who receive 100 per cent of the ticket price.
The grotto is located in an undercover canopy area, so please wear warm clothing as it may get a little chilly.
The grotto opens 11am on Saturday 30 November and will run until Monday 23 December.
Opening times: Weekdays 1 – 6.30pm and weekends 11am – 5pm
Ticket prices: ÂŁ8 per child, ÂŁ4 per infant and ÂŁ1 per adult.
Child and infant tickets include an age appropriate gift from Santa.
Online booking in advance is essential to avoid disappointment.

Storytime with Father Christmas
Father Christmas will be at Ness Gardens for two weekends this year.
There will be time for each child to have a chat and if youâd like to, bring a letter to Father Christmas on the day.
The kids can meet him on Sunday 8 and Sunday 15 December.
There are sessions at 10am, 12 noon and 2pm.
There will be 20 children each session, and the entry fee of ÂŁ9.50 per child includes meeting Father Christmas, a present, admission into the gardens on the day and reindeer food to take home.
Please let the gardens know if you have any accessibility requirements on the day.

Christmas Tea and Carol Service
Enjoy tea before a special service of story and song to celebrate the festive season.
This special carol service will take place at West Kirby United Reform Church, Meols Road, on Sunday 22 December, 5pm – 6.15pm.
Parking available at West Kirby School for 5pm.

From sharing festive platters to classic Christmas dinners, there is a celebration meal for everyone at Leaf West Kirby.
The festive sharing platter features delicious dishes including maple glazed pigs in blankets, apple and sage arancini, mini goatâs cheese and mulled cranberry eccles cake. Vegetarians can enjoy a mezze platter or go for a main course of Kale and sweet potato pie.

Bring your little ones to meet Santa, share what’s on their Christmas list, and find out if they made the nice list.
Enjoy a smokehouse brunch with homemade fluffy Pancakes topped with Strawberries, Chocolate & Hazelnut or dig into the Great American Breakfast.
