It’s only October and you might be still be planning your Halloween highlights – but it’ll be a nightmare if you don’t start thinking about your Christmas party now too.
Everyone loves a yuletide bash whether it’s with your mates, your work, or you want to get the family together for some Chrimbo celebrations.
And the good news is there are loads of amazing places waiting to put a sparkle on your festive fun times out in Liverpool, like these:
Roxy Ball Room (Cavern Quarter or Hanover Street)
You can have a cracking Christmas at Roxy with four festive packages to choose from with games – think ten pin bowling, beer pong, shuffleboard, ping pong, American pool and mini golf – food and booze all under one roof. Its Christmas packages include a huge buffet with plenty of pizzas and sharing sides, plus drinks, from £40 per person – and there’s even an option to forget the food and go for games and drinks including festive themed shots. ‘Tis the season of booze and ball games’ they say – and who are we to argue?!

Municipal Hotel
Add a little luxury and make it a Christmas to remember at the iconic Dale Street Hotel courtesy of its Seaforth Restaurant, the Botanic Tearoom, the Palm Court… or maybe you’ll opt for a private event in the Weightman Suite? There are three different festive offerings from a traditional Christmas dinner, a festive afternoon tea or a less formal canapes with drinks, with prices from around £39.

Because it’s never too early to start thinking about Christmas, Frederiks have announced two party options to choose from, a traditional three-course feast plus a new informal buffet for larger groups (bespoke party packages are also available). The two-course feasting menu which includes mains like honey and mustard gammon and slow braised beef featherblade with gravy is £30, and the buffet starts from £25 for a minimum of 20 people. And if you book your do on a Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday, you can stay for the evening and enjoy the best live jazz.

Love Lane Brewery
The recently revamped Bridgewater Street favourite can’t wait to welcome you for Christmas and it’s got a special festive menu for groups of 8+ to share the love. With starters and mains including slow braised pork cheek and juniper cured salmon, and beef short rib and king oyster mushroom wellington, it’s £25 for two courses and £30 for three; and you can add Love Lane Beer Buckets (5 beers) at £15 per person, or a wine bundle which includes three bottles of house wine for £60. PINS Social Club
The slopes will be open from November 18 when PINS and The Roof will be transformed into a classic Christmas ski-retreat, featuring cosy private Alpine hideaways, festive food pop-ups, weekly special guest events and stunning decorations. There are tons of food, drinks and games packages, like the Winter Classic Combo with arrival drink plus house drink, pizza, bowling, and an extra hour of gaming for £38.

You can join Liverpool ONE’s latest venue for spectacular social darts, tuck in to its fab festive food and drinks packages at a glorious Christmas social (or maybe sip on an exciting Winter Paradise cocktail on their heated terrace). Castle Street’s premier Italian’s inviting you to a Christmas Carnival – or a Carnevale di Natale to be precise! The Christmas Fayre menu is available from November 13 and they reckon it’s their most luxurious Christmas Fayre menu to date featuring black winter truffle and burrata. The three-course menu is £46.95 per person which includes tea or coffee.

With Christmas just around the corner, Marco and his team reckon they’ve perfected the festive menus, whether it’s a glam night out with the girls, a family feast with all the trimmings, cocktails on a work night out or a cosy festive afternoon tea. The Festive Menu’s £31.50 for two courses and £37.50 for three, with mains including British reared roast turkey served with all the trimmings, and Butcher’s Steak with Peppercorn Sauce.

The bells will be jingling at the fun South Asian restaurant which has gone to town with the Christmas preparations. For £55 per person you can enjoy its Bottomless Ding Dong Disco every Friday and Saturday between 12noon and 10pm, with three small plates, 90 minutes of unlimited drinks and live entertainment; and also from November 29 you can treat your gang to a two or three course festive menu from Sunday to Thursday from £32 per person.

If you don’t fancy listening to George from accounts waffling on for two hours, this one is ideal for you as St George’s Hall’s silent disco returns on Friday and Saturday, December 13-14. You can lap up the seasonal sights and sounds of the annual Christmas market outside and then Jingle Bell Rock your night away inside with specialist silent disco DJs playing three channels of music from the last three decades as well as the biggest Christmas anthem singalongs.
