It’s that time of the year again as St Patrick’s Day arrives on March 17, and when it comes to celebrating this special day, Liverpool knows how to do it.
From live music, great vibes and of course an endless amount of Guinness, bars and venues across the city are pulling out all the stops, and planning to paint the town green this month for St Patrick’s Day in Liverpool.

Trio of limited edition whiskey’s and free pizza at Mean-eyed Cat
The bartenders at Mean-Eyed Cat Liverpool have teamed up with Slane Whiskey to create a trio of authentic Irish whiskey cocktails that capture the spirit of the Emerald Isle.

The annual PINS St Patrick’s Weekender is once again about to land on Duke Street! Expect a whole weekend of live entertainment, DJs, runway shows, food and even Bottomless Guinness! The rooftop area will also be hosting it’s first outdoor party of the year as well.

Take part in the St Patrick’s Day parade (17 March)
Back again for 2024, the parade will head through the city centre on Sunday 17 March, setting off from the old Irish Centre on Mount Pleasant at 12:30pm. Follow the bands on a route along Great Orford Street, Hope Street, Hardman Street, Renshaw Street, Ranelagh Street, Hanover Street and Seel Street.

Baltic Market St Patrick’s Celebrations (13-17 March)
From Wednesday 13th March until Sunday 17th March, Liverpool’s first street food and drink market will welcome thousands of guests to party for Paddy’s Day.
Hosting the city’s biggest free St Patrick’s Day party, the market, which is home to nine different food traders, will have an array of exciting entertainment plus limited edition dishes and drinks to get everyone in the mood to celebrate, and Baltic Market’s steins will be returning for the whole week!
From live Irish bands, to Paddy’s Day themed cocktails, special Irish-inspired dishes, hundreds of kegs of Guinness as well as showing all of the live Six Nations rugby coverage and the Derby, Baltic Market is the only place to raise a glass to Saint Patrick and mark this momentous occasion!
Limited edition dishes include Guinness Braised Beef Subs from Polpetta or ‘Paddys Dawg’ hot dog made with slane Irish whiskey and Guinness from Richie’s paired with a St Patrick’s Day themed cocktail menu – made with classic Irish whiskey!

Get to The Atkinson over St Patrick’s weekend for a session at Irish Annie’s pub, a brand-new musical play by Asa Murphy celebrating the best of Irish culture, from the music through to the comedy. Featuring a live 5-piece band Shenanigans.
Meet landlady Annie and her regular madcap customers for a fun night out of comedy and music, featuring original tracks written for the show by Asa Murphy, along with your all-time favourite Irish tunes including Galway Shawl, Tell Me Ma, Dirty Old Town, Danny Boy and many more.
