5 dishes you have to try at La Vina Liverpool

When it comes to authentic cuisine, fun atmosphere and live entertainment, La Vina has it all.

Relive those balmy Spanish evenings dining under the stars at La Vina, North John Street this Christmas with a fabulous menu, cocktails, tapas and of course, plenty of Sangria to chase away the winter blues.

Offering a feast for the senses, the brand new menu from La Vina is colourful, delicious and utilises fresh, seasonal produce, much of which is imported from Spain to maintain authenticity. Tuck into meats, cheeses, tapas and warming, tasty paella, perfect for a date night, family feast lunch with colleagues or friends.

Alongside a guaranteed warm welcome, La Vina offers low calorie, gluten-free and vegetarian meals as part of the main menu, ensuring there is a dish for everyone to enjoy.

And that’s not all. Why not stop by for drinks and tapas after work on Friday when La Vina offers live entertainment in the form of a traditional Spanish guitarist and live flamenco dancer! Ole!

It’s safe to say we’re huge fans of the La Vina menu, which is bursting with flavour! We’ve carried out some seriously intense taste-testing to bring you our faves.

Here’s 5 dishes you have to try at La Vina Liverpool….

1 – Jamon Iberica De Bellota

Authenticity is everything at La Vina and the Pata Negra Ibérico jamón, which is matured for a minimum of 36 months, offers up a sweet, rich & nutty flavour.

1 – Valdeon

Who doesn’t love a wedge of cheese with a vino after work? Check out Valdeon, a Spanish blue cheese from Leon, which is served with bread, sliced apple, mint & caramelised onion chutney.

2 – Pulpo

When it comes to seafood, the Spanish are the masters of mixing fresh produce with a bit of spice. Try Pulpo, Octopus leg pan-fried with olive oil, garlic, chilli, lemon & smoked sea salt, with piquillo purée!

3 – Winter Salad

It’s rare we would choose a salad during the winter time, but this is a taste sensation and a great way to eat light at lunch time. The Winter Salad consists of red chicory, lambs lettuce, baby spinach, fresh pear, toasted pine nuts, Valdeon cheese & crispy serrano ham in a raspberry vinaigrette.

4 – Secreto & Celeriac

A true delicacy. Fantastically tender & highly prized shoulder cut, dark & delicious Iberico pork with a long grain & dense creamy white fat marbling. Strips of secreto with roasted celeriac puree & drizzled with salsa verde. Get in our belly!

5 – Stuffed Romano Peppers

Veggie are in for a treat at La Vina with this winter warmer. Brand new on the menu, order yourself baked Romano red peppers stuffed with aubergine, courgettes, oven-dried tomatoes, cheese, pine nuts & herbs with salsa verde & pomegranate seeds. Comfort food at its best.
