Stock Aitken and Waterman were the maestros behind some of the biggest hits of the era. With 13 UK number one hit singles and iconic artists like Rick Astley, Jason Donovan, and of course Kylie Minogue, under their belt, their music dominated the charts.

Experience the magic of classics like “Better The Devil You Know,” “Never Gonna Give You Up,” and, of course, “I Should Be So Lucky” live on stage. Get ready to tap your toes and sing along to every unforgettable tune.

I Should Be So Lucky isn’t just about the music—it’s about family, friendship, and being there when it matters most.

Dive deep into a heartwarming and rib-tickling tale of Ella and Nathan – a star-crossed couple with wedding jitters and tropical dreams. Will their love sail smoothly, or are stormy break-ups ahead? Only time and tunes will tell.

With ten Number 1 singles and over thirty era-defining songs from the Hit Factory, immerse yourself in a sun-kissed adventure filled with feel-good vibes and iconic pop classics. Directed by stage and screen legend Debbie Isitt, who is famous writer and director of the Nativity film series, and choreographed by Jason Gilkison (Creative Director for Strictly Come Dancing), this musical promises to be a whirlwind of joy and nostalgia.

Pete Waterman says so

I Should Be So Lucky is a British jukebox musical written by Debbie Isitt which uses the music of the pop writing team Stock Aitken Waterman

Pete Waterman, one of the founding members of SAW, has given his seal of approval to this new musical. According to Pete, the show is a much-needed dose of uplift in today’s world. Audiences can expect to lose themselves in two hours of fun and walk away feeling uplifted and rejuvenated.

Pete said: “For 2 hours you will lose yourselves in fun and walk away feeling a lot better than when you walked in!

“I hope audiences have fun with this show. This musical couldn’t have been timed better. We’re currently in a world that’s all over the place, I mean, we just need a bit of uplift as we’ve got enough grief.”

Jay Hynd caught up with Pete Waterman to talk about his phenomenal career and the new musical – you can watch it below:
