Classical Brit Award Artists of the Decade, Popera sensations, Il Divo bring their anniversary tour to Liverpool.

Capturing the hearts of opera fans around the world, Il Divo celebrate 15 years at the very top of classical musical with the Timeless Tour. On Thursday 27th June 2019, the quartet will perform all their greatest hits live at the M&S Bank Arena and there’s still a chance to get your hands on tickets.

The kings of combining musical genres, Il Divo have 10 international chart topping albums under their belt, featuring collaborations with the likes of Celine Dion and have performed live for The Queen and former President of the United States, Barack Obama. Their latest single, Hola is a cover of Adele’s beautiful ballad ‘Hello’ and it hits you right in the feels.

Their music is difficult to describe. It’s operatic, but not opera. There are elements of pop, folk, Latin, even hymns. The result of different influences and languages is emotional, classical and truly uplifting.

While Il Divo was formed by a world wide search by X Factor boss, Simon Cowell, Il Divo are far from your normal boyband. Urs Bühler, Carlos Marín, David Miller and Sébastien Izambard form a truly international band, each bringing their own unique sound. Did you know that the four members of Il Divo are Spanish, French, American and Swiss? Classically trained as tenors and baritones, their multi-lingual sound is one still yet to be replicated.

4 – Early Fame

Spanish Baritone, Carlos enjoyed success at a very young age. Recording his first ever album at the age of 8 and performing for audiences in the hundreds, Carlos also performed in Les Mis, Beauty and the Beast and sang in animated film The Nightmare Before Christmas.
