5 reasons to swing by Liverpool’s new amazing indoor golf venue, Fliers

Advertorial
Liverpool’s got an amazing new indoor golf venue so if you want to get into the swing of having fun this summer, Fliers is for you.
Fliers, the state-of-the-art golf simulator centre has opened its doors in Vandries Street in the bustling Ten Streets area of the city.
And when it comes to having a great time with your mates or fun with the family, this is one new place to go that’s way above par.
Fliers’ Kate Frost says golf has seen a huge increase in interest over the last few years and, with the weather in the UK unpredictable at best, there’s an absolute need for high-quality indoor options that mean you can channel your inner Scottie Scheffler or Rory McIlroy all year round.
And Kate adds: “Our technology makes golf more accessible for beginners, families, and younger plays who might not feel ready to visit a traditional golf course or driving range.”
Fliers is open every day from 8am to 10pm (except Sundays when we all need a lie-in so it opens at 10am) and if all that’s not left you ready to sort tee-time, here’s five reasons that’ll definitely make you want to swing by:
High-tech fun
Fliers has got five high-tech simulators, each with its own five-metre cinema style screen to ensure an incredible immersive and interactive experience, and they’re powered by Trackman technology which is the same cutting-edge system used on the PGA Tour and by professional golfers all over the world.
On your own – or with a few?
Fliers has a range of exclusive and private simulator bays which are ideal for individual practice or golf lessons (there are PGA professionals on site) and club fittings, but there are also group bays which allow for up to six people so it’s perfect for friends and families.
It doesn’t matter if you’re an experienced golfer or looking to have a laugh, the Trackman technology means you can play on a hyper-realistic golf course or driving range and demand in-depth data to improve your game – or you can play arcade style games which are bang-on for beginners or kids.
Bargain bays
Until the end of August, all the bays cost £14.99 for a full hour, regardless of how many of you there are. But there are also membership options available and discounts for regular visitors.
It’s not just about golf
Fliers is first with other sports too, broadcasting all major live sporting events in the bar and on the TV screens within the simulator bays so you get all the action as it happens and an atmosphere that’s way better than watching it on your own in your living room. Did someone say Euros?
Fab food and drink
Whether you’re watching sport or playing golf, it’s thirsty work, so there’s a fully licensed bar as well as soft and hot drinks on offer and, if you’re feeling peckish, they’ve got a delicious food menu including scrummy sourdough pizzas, and fresh pastries every morning.
There’s free, secure parking to take away any motoring stress at Fliers, and if you’re fancying it for a works’ do or team-building sessions it’s available for corporate and special events and you can even hire out the entire space.
And, with plans to host leagues and tournaments for members, it’s going to guarantee competition but, above all, community.
We’re putting it in our calendar now!
