5 Reasons to visit the Catherine Braidy Cake Parlour in Aigburth
5 years ago
Let them eat cake, cake, cake, cake and cake. This brand new venture sees two expert bakers join forces to launch a tea shop and cake parlour in South Liverpool.
Situated just a stones throw from the beautiful Sefton Park, Catherine Braidy is a boutique cake parlour offering the finest of sweet treats. Launched earlier this month, this venture sees professional bakers, Catherine Williams and Braidy Maloney pool their expert knowledge and experience to offer tea for two, with a difference.
Open daily from 10am until 4pm, Catherine Braidy serves up cake by the slice, cupcakes, tray bakes, top class coffee, tea and soft drinks.
Proud to support local business and produce, Catherine Braidy serves Crosby Coffee and a range of teas from Tea Drop UK. The cake parlour prepares and bakes all its cake creations in the on-site bakery, including vegan cakes too. This is why you’ll hear the distant whirr of the mixers and the intoxicating smell of freshly baked sponge, while you dine.
Here’s 5 reasons to visit Catherine Braidy for a cake fix this week…
1 – Stroll & A Slice
Catherine Braidy is located opposite the Sefton Park Lake car part on Aigburth Road. We don’t need any more reason nor excuse to enjoy an Autumnal stroll and a slice of cake!
2 – Miss Independent
This brand new boutique cake parlour is another addition to the city’s growing and thriving independent business list. Show it some love and stop by for a cupcake….or six.
3 – 8 Days a Week
That’s how often we could devour the freshly baked Catherine Braidy cakes. Open daily from 10am til 4pm you can sit in or take away and come back, for more cake. Oh and, you can pay on your card, winner.
4 – Treats For All
The girls behind Catherine Braidy are keen to ensure there is a cake or sweet treat for everyone. There is always a vegan option available on the daily cake menu and you can check what’s on offer by simply dropping them a line on social media!Â
5 – Five Star Reviews
Cathering Braidy may have only been open for a month (September 2019) but it’s already receiving 5 star reviews. One Facebok fan said: “The tastiest chocolate orange brownies I ever had. My kids loved them too. Lovely friendly staff. Will definitely visit again.”
