5 things you’ll get for a fiver at LIMF 2018
6 years ago
Liverpool International Music Festival returns to Sefton Park on 21st-22nd July 2018 and there’s a jam-packed weekend of fun on offer.
Now in it’s sixth year, LIMF 2018 is lining up more than 70 international and local music acts, 18 hours worth of top class entertainment as well as VIP treatment and of course tonnes of family fun for just £5 per day. LIMF 2018 is ticketed for the first time, but who can argue with a fiver ticket when you see just how much is on offer?!
With arguably the best line up to date, featuring giants such as Basement Jaxx, Wylie, and DJ Jazzy Jeff, the banging DJ tent returns, loads of food and drink vendors, face-painting and fresh air activities for the kids, the question is how will you get round everything?
Here’s 5 things you’ll get for your fiver at LIMF 2018…..
1 – Huge Headline Acts
Following in the footsteps of Cast, Gorgon City and the world premier of Garage Classical, the LIMF 2018 headline acts are properly impressive. Expect to see and hear Hacienda Classical, DJ Jazzy Jeff, Example and DJ Wire plus Stefflon Don and Jax Jones returns for another weekend of giving it beans on the LIMF Central stage.
2 – A HUGE Line up of DJ’s
Following the huge success of last year, The Shubz DJ Tent returns to LIMF and it’s even bigger and better than last year with the added addition of The True School Club House stage. Expect a superb line up of DJ’s including Trevor Nelson, Jazzie B, DJ Jazzy Jeff, Danny Rampling, Tim Westwood, Wide Awake and more to be announced as the decks spin all weekend long. 3 – Kids Go Free Family Fun
Kids under 11 go free at LIMF 2018, but they still require a ticket from the official website here. You can expect the stellar line up of entertainment for the little ones including the likes of face painting and plenty of music, sport and crafty fun. Why not make a massive picnic and spend your weekend in the family zone?
4 – The Best Merseyside Talent
A massive champion local talent, LIMF 2018 launches the brand new ItsLiverpool Next Generation Stage this summer. With the likes of XAMVOLO, Eleanor Nelly, The Vryll Society and The Farm gracing the popular It’s Liverpool Stage last year, we can’t wait to see who’s confirmed for the two day spectacular this summer. Who would you like to see play?
5 – Tasty Eats and Drinks
As always there will be a number of carefully selected food and drinks vendors keeping you well oiled and full of energy to sustain a whole 18 hours of entertainment. You can bring your own food and soft drinks to the festival, remember there’s no glass allowed, or just hit the cash point on the way and let the burger vans do the work for you. Find out more about the festival rules and info on alcohol here.Â
