2022 is almost over, and what a year it has been! Liverpool’s thriving hospitality scene has welcomed some of the most incredible bars & restaurants we have seen in recent years – from Gaucho to Hawksmoor, along with The Radisson RED hotel, and finally getting our own Albert’s Schloss. We think 2023 is only going to get better.

So here are 53 Liverpool bars you MUST try in 2023.

Frederiks 

Located between the Cathedrals on Liverpool’s iconic Hope Street, Frederiks has been at the centre of the Georgian Quarter since 2013. The bar offers up a range of craft beers, gin, wines, and delicious food! Be sure to check out their Jazz nights.

Gaucho Bar

Be sure to check out the stunning bar inside of this iconic Grade II listed building. Gaucho has launched Gaucho Lates which will bring the party and the culture of modern Argentina to Liverpool every Thursday, Friday and Saturday night –  with DJ’s, entertainment and live music. With a bar menu of light bites available until 12.30pm it will be a destination for those looking for a perfect place to end their night.

Jimmy’s

Hawksmoor

Ever wanted to make your own gin? Well what better way to do that than at Liverpool Gin Distillery. After a warm welcome and meeting your tutor along with a Liverpool Gin & Tonic, visitors are taken upstairs to one of their purpose made ‘Gin Laboratories’. In spite of initial doubts about the famous American sports restaurant and bar launching in the city, Hooters says it’s been given a warm welcome by the people of Liverpool. Officially recognised as the world’s biggest Hooters, the Water Street venue in the old Newz Bar seats 300, serves up American grub and of course has a huge drinks menu too.

Love Lane Brewery

Carlisi 

The family run Sicilian bar serves up freshly made bar snacks, sandwiches, and sharing platters using only the finest Italian ingredients. The Carlisi brothers have certainly made a name for themselves in the city over these four years. They now have their own brand of Gin which is named after the area of Sicily (Agrigento) where Alessio, and his brother Federico, grew up. They use lemons and oranges from their hometown in Sicily to create the flavours in the gin.
