6 Reasons to check out Tusk, the newest Cain’s Brewery Village bar & eatery
7 years ago
Veggies and Vegans and pooches….oh my! Cain’s Brewery Village welcomes a brand new eatery, bar and urban food and drink sanctuary with something for everyone.
As the Baltic Triangle creative melting pot continues to thrive, we check out Tusk at Cain’s Brewery Village, a brand new concept in socialising set in the heart of the Northern Lights development. Born out of a love of animals, in particular, elephants, Tusk takes its inspiration from it’s artistic neighbours and offers a warm, quirky yet sophisticated warehouse setting to enjoy a hearty meal or sip a cocktail or two…..and dogs are welcome too!
Watch above as our Jay heads down to Tusk to find out more about what’s on offer.
The carefully compiled menu caters for veggies, vegans and meat eaters alike and despite only being open just a few short weeks, you lot are raving about the succulent Miso Aubergine, ostrich burger, hearty soups; sitting by the roaring log burner with a cuppa and the warm and friendly welcome from the rather handsome bar staff! Surrounded by the city’s most gifted artists, printers, tattooists, painters, sculptors, writers, designers, makers and thinkers, it’s no surprise that Tusk has already established itself as a central meeting point to work, relax and play. From a quiet coffee to a sophisticated warehouse party for all your friends and family, Tusk Baltic is the perfect venue.
Here’s 6 things you need to know about brand new eatery, bar and urban sanctuary, Tusk….
1 – Top Quality Food
Whether you fancy a hearty brekkie bowl loaded with pan seared squash and crispy kale and sliced avocado, topped with a peppery fried egg…..or a stellar sausage butty, Tusk dish up a varied breakfast, lunch and dinner menu to suit all dietary requirements.
2 – They Give Something Back
One of Tusk’s owners, Andrea is the biggest animal lover we’ve ever met and she’s on a mission to ensure we all do our bit to support a number of global animal charities. Whether you treat yourself to an Elephant G&T or request a fully bio-degradable straw, or donate ÂŁ1 on bottled tap water, which is matched by Tusk Baltic and directly supports the Elephant Hills Charity. Share the love!
3 – All the Drinks
Tusk prides itself on serving up an impressive range of craft beers, signature and classic cocktails which they switch up monthly. Also, until you’ve tried the fully loaded hot chocolate (with or without Bailey’s) and huge marshmallows, you haven’t lived!
4 – Four Legs are welcome at Tusk
What better way to finish up a walk along our stunning waterfront, than with a lay down in front of the fire on a comfy bed and a bowl of fresh water? Your four-legged friends are as welcome as Tusk as you are and there’s a spot by the log burner just for you.
5 – The Scouse Quirks
Tusk is literally built from parts of the city that have come together in one comfortable, stylish dining room and bar. Look out for triangle patterns inspired by the original warehouse rafters, old school gym lockers and a 100 year old blackboard from a synagogue!
