Here’s 6 things you’ll love about the brilliant new Sea Stars attraction at Sea Life Blackpool
– Housed in a range of impressive displays creating an ocean of dazzling stars, giant windows ensure fantastic visibility and visitors can get a close up view and discover the pop up bubbles and peek-a-boo holes in the attraction.
– As well as marvelling at the variety of shapes, sizes and colours, guests will be mesmerised as the starfish wriggle their thousands of legs and move around their sandy new home in Blackpool.
– Visitors will also discover little known facts about these underwater invertebrates which have been around for over 450 million years, such as their ability to regenerate lost limbs, project their stomachs to eat and the ability of some species to reproduce asexually!
– We guarantee you’ll have a giggle teaching your little ones the unusual species names including the Brittle Star, Chocolate Knobbed, Common Starfish, Red Knobbed and Sun-Star, which can have up to twelve arms! How many different species will you spot?
– Celebrating a birthday this half-term? Why not celebrate with the Sea Stars and let Sea Life Blackpool take the sting(ray) out of the organising? Party beneath the waves with an Underwater Explorer package (aimed at ages 5-9) or and Underwater Extreme package (suitable for ages 8-12) Click here for more information.
– You can be the STAR of the show, tweet your starfish selfies using the hashtag #SEALIFEselfies and Sea Life Blackpool will share them too! Don’t forget your trout pout!
