Benty Farm Tea Rooms

The farm folk are passionate about their afternoon tea and they’ve got a Valentine’s Afternoon Tea special that you’ll just love. They’re serving it on Saturday and Sunday, February 12 and 13, for £16.95 per person. 

It includes a selection of sandwiches and quiche, their signature mini Victoria sandwich cake, a red velvet cookie and raspberry and white chocolate macaron, and – of course – a homemade fruit scone with raspberry jam and clotted cream. Grand Central Hall, Liverpool – Soul Jam – Valentine’s Afternoon Tea Special (Feb 16: 2-4.30pm)

Well, it’s an afternoon tea with a difference, but if you like RnB with your ‘T’, this is one you’re going to love as much as you do your other half!

Oh Me Oh My

The Water Street favourite is pouring out the affection with its Valentine’s Afternoon Tea on Sunday, February 13 between 12noon and 3.30pm.

‘Vals, gals and pals’ are invited to join them for an afternoon of sweet and savoury treats under a canopy of fairy-light stars, all of which will be accompanied by live acoustic music.  Prices range from £21.95 per person, which includes standard afternoon tea, or you can treat yourself to a glass of Prosecco too for £26.95 – and, for £29.50, a glass of Champagne or a cocktail. Catherine Braidy Cake Parlour

Roses are red, violets are blue, this Aigburth Road fave’s got a tea treat for you! Its Valentine Day Afternoon Tea is available to eat in or you can have it delivered on February 13. It costs £25 per person and includes sandwiches, a bagel and a savoury scone; cheese and crackers; a cherry Bakewell Viennese biscuit and other scrummy sweets, as well as a hot or cold drink of your choice.

Cuthbert’s Bakehouse

You can almost feel a hug with this ‘Lovingly Baked Afternoon Tea’ from the well-known Mount Pleasant bakery. It’s being served from February 3-28 and, for £25 per person, includes THE most delicious sandwiches including fillet of beef, parmesan, rocket, and mustard, and smoked salmon, horseradish cream, with caviar pearls; vanilla scented scones served with clotted cream and strawberry pink gin jam; and delicious sweet goodies like forest loaf cake and ruby chocolate dipped strawberry.

And you get a glass of fizz on arrival, unlimited loose-leaf tea and filter coffee, or a single bottle of soft drink.

Mrs Danvers

The lovely Mrs Danvers has got a few Valentine’s Day treats for us this year, and all available to book now. They include Mrs Danvers’ Valentine’s Afternoon Tea for £25 per person, which customers can enjoy inside her new Gildart Street venue, or takeaway; and there’s a scrummy Mrs Danvers’ Valentine’s Treat Box too for £20.

The Valentine’s Afternoon Tea includes: a selection of sandwiches and savouries; a cherry scone with jam and clotted cream, and loads of gorgeous goodies like a red velvet brownie, macaron heart with chocolate ganache, and a chocolate dipped strawberry, as well, of course, as tea. You even get a red rose to give to the one you love! And you can add a mini bottle of Prosecco for £6.

The Treat Box contains a marbled chocolate smash heart full of sweets, decorated cupcake, decorated heart-shaped shortbread biscuit; red velvet chocolate brownie; chocolate dipped strawberry, and a red rose (and you can add a mini bottle of Strawberry Fields Gin for £5).

Namak Kitchen, Moreton

Ooh now we’re liking the sound of this, a Valentine’s Day Special Indian Afternoon Tea, made freshly on Sunday, February 13, ready to deliver directly to your door.  The Moreton-based kitchen has got all sorts of Indian foodie favourites for £25 per person and it includes the Shami Slider, a minced chicken patty on a freshly-baked bun and topped with their special chutney; Chicken Tikka and Cheese Quiche; Baingan and Hummus Wrap, Cinnamon Scone, and Mughal cookies.
