Cocktails In The City returns to Liverpool this October for two nights of mixology and this time, it’s in a brand new home. The stunning neoclassical St George’s Hall will provide the backdrop for this years, two-night gathering that brings together all the city’s best bars and bar tenders to shake their thing in a pop-up stall format.
The theme for this year’s event is ‘Cocktails Through the Ages’ which gives you the chance to taste test a whole host of classics alongside the brand new concoctions dreamed up by the best in the business. Some of the city’s top bars will be in residence, including 81 Ltd, The Alchemist, Bold Street Coffee, Berry & Rye, Crazy Pedro’s, Dockleaf, El Bandito, Filter & Fox, Furnival’s Well, Red Door, The Smuggler’s Cove, Santa Chupito’s, The Royal Institution and more.
How often to you get to enjoy a night out at St George’s Hall? Not only that, but a night out with all your favourite bars under one, seriously impressive roof?! The Instagram pics alone are worth the ticket!
How about this for a warm welcome, your first drink is on the house and you decide which bar gets your token! How will you choose?
Alongside the myriad of pop-up stalls serving classic and brand new cocktails, you’re invited to go on a Tasting Room Journey with 31Dover.com. Learn to make the perfect espresso martini with Tia Maria and sample foraged cocktails with The Botanist Gin!
Keeping you well-oiled throughout your Cocktails in the City experience is only part of the fun for the Liverpool bars, they’re also competing against each other to win the accolade of ‘Best Bar Experience’. Who will you vote for?
From the decadent Belle Epoque period of the late 1800’s through prohibition, retro cocktails and modern drinks, you’ll be taken on a journey through the golden ages of the cocktail and are guaranteed to discover your new favourite tipple.
Each of the city bars will be partnered with a spirit brand so using your free Cocktails in the City booklet, you can make a beeline for your preferred partnership and sample what they’ve come up with. What’s your go-to? Vodka, Whisky, Gin?
There’ll also be great food on offer from Slim’s Pork Chop Express and other top street food vendors.
