Only 7?! There are loads of reasons why PINS is the place to head to this summer – and after! – because who doesn’t love a venue where every day is a game day!
It’s four years since the PINS Social Club opened on Duke Street and it’s more popular than ever.
Tom Sumner, head of brand and marketing for the Liverpool games club, says: “Everything we do is influenced by the live, game day experience you get as a guest at sports venues around the world.
“There, you’re made to feel like part of the experience, part of the show, so everything we do is about immersing people in this other world as soon as they step into our venue from Duke Street.
“And we’re always working to add to this. We want everyone to leave feeling like they’ve been a part of it, arriving a fan and leaving a player!.”
Game on
It’s the variety of games at PINS that makes it such a winner, from bowling to beer pong, pool to ping pong, karaoke, tech darts, and more. They’re games you can play if you’ve got loads of energy and even when you want to just chill – although chances are the competitor in you will get fired up to try and conquer the winners’ board and beat your mates.
It’s going to be a late one
PINS Social Club isn’t just about games, it’s about live entertainment and drinks. It’s open from 12 noon to 2am on Friday and Saturday so consider your weekend nights out sorted. And, if you don’t want a late one, what about Brunch ‘N’ Bowl at 1pm or 3pm on Saturday, with 90 minutes of bowling, unlimited pizza and unlimited drinks for £45?
Fab Food
Keeping the neighbourhood fed, PINS has got a great menu filled with all your favourites like classic burgers, fried chicken sub sandwiches, hot dogs, loaded fries, and chicken wings,
Going for Goldies
You might not have been as good as gold, but the new 22” new york style pizzas at PINS are! Goldies opened within PINS at the beginning of July serving authentic New York pizza seven days a week with amazing toppings like Fat Sam’s Grand Slam with mozzarella, pepperoni, n’duja, hot dog, meatballs and jalapenos, and Aime Leon Pie with mozzarella, goats cheese, and caramelised onion, as well as gorgeous desserts and shakes. PINS has one of the biggest roof bars in Liverpool looking out onto Wolstenholme Square and across the city centre. As well as amazing views and catching a few rays when the sun shines, you can grab yourself a game of ping pong and a cool cocktail like the Margot Robbie with Bacardi Coconut, passionfruit, Aperol, lychee, pineapple, ice cream … and some of the best vibes around.
Keep it to yourself!
If you fancy your works’ do at PINS but don’t fancy sharing it, the second floor’s got private spaces for groups of up to 30 and 300, including Rocco’s Games Room where you can find a bar plus American pool, English pool, shuffleboard and a private karaoke booth. The ‘Spare Room’ with four full-length bowling lanes. The Mezz overlooks the main bar and is home to three Tech Darts oche’s plus two pool tables (Psst: We don’t like to mention the C-word yet but it’s perfect for your Christmas parties and, a word to the wise, some smart folk have already got their bookings in).
