What a brilliant weekend we had in Liverpool, from running around the city getting a culture fix at LightNight 2018, to seeing the one and only, Yoko Ono open a brand new exhibition dedicated to her life, love and experiences with Liverpool’s most famous son, John Lennon. Scousebird tweeted what we were all thinking and Lee Butler had a little Reminisce!
Huge congrats to all who took on the mammoth Rock n’ Roll Marathon Series in the heat, you guys literally rock!
Watch as we take you inside the brand new #JohnLennon & @yokoono exhibition @MuseumLiverpool, #DoubleFantasy – John & Yoko.
You are going to love it!

We got a first look at the brand new Double Fantasy exhibition at Museum of Liverpool and Yoko herself was in town for the launch.

With more than 100 free events across the city, LightNight 2018 went all out to entertain and we loved it!
Alright chief. Wrap it up. #royalwedding

The Royal wedding brought a few surprises in it’s ‘break from the norm’ approach. But no one raised more eye brows than Rev Michael Curry. What a legend!

More than 22,000 of you laced up to take on the Rock N’ Roll Marathon series early on Sunday morning. How good does that medal feel around your neck now? Ultimate bragging rights.
This was taken in the studio of the good old dance weekends at @RadioCity967
— Lee Butler (@DjLeeButler) 18 May 2018
Throwing back to the good old days, DJ Lee Butler shared an old school pic of him and Les Calvert throwing down the dance weekends on Radio City. Strangely, he hasn’t aged a bit!
— Liverpool FC (@LFC) 19 May 2018
We’re all a bit jittery about next week, not wanting to really talk about it, but full of predictions! LFC got the ball rolling (no pun intended) with this little pre-match tweet.
— Dara Ó Briain (@daraobriain) 20 May 2018
Comedian Dara O Briain filled the Liverpool Empire twice over at the weekend and still had time to check out the Terracotta Army. Doubt he raised a smile over there, stony faces all round…..sorry.
