Liverpool enjoyed temperatures as high as some Mediterranean destinations throughout July & August, which was officially the joint hottest summer we’ve ever had! But the inevitable Autumn showers have turned up right on cue (a relief to some) and with them, the chance to enjoy welly walks in the parks, take in a cosy film night and overdose on hot chocolate!

Did you know that you can view the city from above with a phenomenal 360 viewing gallery experience at St John’s Beacon? Open daily between 10:30am and 5:30pm you can take the lift to the top of what is known locally as the Radio City Tower and at 400ft you might even be above the rain clouds! There’s more to Tate Liverpool than just ground-breaking modern art. If you’re caught in a shower down at the Albert Dock, take refuge in the Tate Liverpool coffee shop, with spectacular views of the dock itself, plus a gift shop to get lost in and of course, the galleries themselves!
