8 Liverpool restaurants going flipping mad this Pancake Day
7 years ago
Jif squeezy lemon at the ready, it’s almost Pancake Day 2018!
Tuesday 13th February, Shove Tuesday or Pancake Day 2018 as it’s better know, is just around the corner and while we love a bit of flipping fun at home, it’s even better when someone else does all the hard work for you. Did you know, the reason we eat pancakes on Shrove Tuesday is because it’s a Christian custom to use up what was once considered to be ‘indulgent items’ such as eggs and flour, before the 40 days of Lent.
Whether you’re choosing to give something up for Lent or not, make sure you treat yourself to a pancake or three on Shrove Tuesday, it’s tradition after all! Fluffy, American, French style crepes, smothered in maple syrup, Nutella, fresh cream and berries or laden with bacon, however you like them, this Tuesday is the time to indulge.
Liverpool is now awash with great places to enjoy traditional crepes, pancakes and desserty goodness so instead of spending your Tuesday night scraping raw pancake mix off the kitchen ceiling, leave it to the pro’s and check out these top 8 Liverpool restaurants going flipping mad this Pancake Day.
