Each evening throughout December, the Martin Luther King Jnr Building (next to the Pumphouse Pub) will come to life with a magical light display – captivating visitors and whisking them away on a fantastical journey of storytelling and imagination. Playing on loop from 5m til 10pm daily, the light spectacular attraction will delight visitors of all ages as a brand new Christmas story unfolds.

8 – Magical Light Display

Now as if all the food, drinks, fairground fun, gifts and comedy wasn’t enough to enjoy this Christmastime, Albert Dock unveils a brand new attraction that will delight visitors of all ages. A Magical Light Show will light up the iconic Grade I listed Martin Luther King Jnr Building and tell a brand new, Christmas tale for all to enjoy.

Running on loop every evening from 5pm until 10pm, from 1st December until 1st January, this 20 minute intricate light projection centred around the theme of “Unwrapping Christmas on Albert Dock”, incorporates origami and hand-crafted paper designs in the style of a beautiful pop-up book.
