We’re so close to Christmas now we can almost taste the pigs in blankets, but that doesn’t mean there isn’t time to fit in a massive party before the big day.
If you’re still on the look-out for the ultimate Christmas night out, then call off the elves because Camp and Furnace has got everything you could possibly have on your wish list.
The first Tinsel Town Christmas party was a total sell-out, but no-one should get left out at this time of year so now they’ve added a second date and a second chance to join in all the festive fun on Monday December 20.
Still fighting with your inner Grinch? Here are 8 reasons why you need head to Camp and Furnace’s big Christmas party, Tinsel Town …
1. It’s the perfect way to kickstart your Christmas
If you’re starting to wind down towards the main event weekend and looking for a way to really throw yourself into the Christmas spirit then this will definitely send you flying into it. Nobody will expect too much of you in that last week before Christmas so you can go all-out and celebrate the most wonderful time of the year – then just freewheel to Santa on Saturday!
2. There’s a live band
Christmas really wouldn’t be Christmas without non-stop sing-a-long hits and Tinsel Town has a live band to make sure no Michael Bublé or Mariah tune goes unplayed. Absolutely no-one’s going home without a few choruses of All I Want for Christmas.
3. You’ll be stepping into a festive wonderland
One of the downsides of growing up is you don’t get to go to a grotto anymore, but Tinsel Town’s gone one better, all dressed up as a festive wonderland. You can get Rocking Around the Christmas Tree surrounded by loads of Christmas deccies and even indoor snow.Â
4. There’s Christmas cocktails and mulled wine
Santa loves a little drink when he’s heading down chimneys, to wash down his mince pie, so raise a glass to him and his little helpers with special Tinsel Town Christmas cocktails or get all warmed up with a classic mulled wine and make like you’re in the Wham video.
5. Santa will be there so you better behave
Who says you’re too old to have a little word with the big man, maybe drop a few hints? Santa will be making a special guest appearance at the party so you better be sure to get on his nice list so he puts you on his pressie rounds.
6. It’s happening at Camp and Furnace, one of Liverpool’s biggest and best venues
Camp and Furnace is one of the best party venues in the city and it’s huge so even when it’s all sold out there’s always plenty of space to have a great night with your mates. It’s right in the centre of the Baltic Triangle too so it couldn’t be better placed for getting a cab at the end of the night.
7. There’s festive food
Probably no sprouts, by unpopular demand, but that doesn’t mean there isn’t lots of other Christmassy foodie treats to be had so you can get in training for the big blow-out dinner on Saturday.
8. It’s a great last-minute work or friends night out
If you’ve been a bit of a slacker with organising anything this year, Tinsel Town will get you back into the Christmas good books because you don’t have to worry about who wants what to eat, or trying to get a table that’ll take everyone, just book tickets, maybe throw on a pair of glittery reindeer antlers and you’re good to party.
