The Christmas countdown is on! We’ve got December all wrapped up with events, activities and seasonal stop-offs for the whole family on Wirral

The Santa Experience – Church Farm, Thurstaston (Weekends 30 Nov – 22 Dec)

Meet Frosty the Snowman, Rudolph, and of course, the main man himself, at this little chestnut of an event for younger children. There’ll be sing-a-long songs and dancing with the elves in pretty Church Farm forest, plus mulled wine and mince pies for grown ups. 

While you’re there, Church Farm is home to freshly-chopped Christmas trees waiting to light up your home for the holidays. So, the kids are happy, the tree’s your own, and look at you, merrily multitasking this Christmas.

Sunday lunches with Santa – Inglewood Manor (Sun 1, 8 &15 Dec)

Visit Santa in this Edwardian winter wonderland, before sitting down to a sumptuous 3-course menu, just as the children start asking awkward questions about if that’s really him?

Santa Special Tram – Transport Museum & Heritage Tramway, Birkenhead (Sat 14 Dec)

Who needs sleigh-rides when Wirral’s got Santa tram rides? Kids will love this Christmas adventure as they hop onboard a Grotto-inspired return-trip to Woodside.
