9 Must See Musicals coming to Liverpool this Summer

War Horse

Based on the novel by Michael Morpurgo, War Horse comes to Liverpool on November 15^th and runs until Dec 2^nd. This spectacularly moving and imaginative story is filled with drama and stirring music resulting in an unforgettable theatre experience. Sister Act

Broadway hit musical Sister Act returns to the UK starring Alexandra Burke. Directed and choreographed by Strictly’s Craig Revel Horwood, Sister Act is a comedy musical that will have the whole family in pleats. Fame

Showcasing the region’s hottest new talent treading the boards in one of the world’s most loved musical offerings, LHK Productions is bringing Fame to the Epstein Theatre this July. Into its 11^th year, LHK productions is committed to delivering traditional performances with a modern twist and Fame is set to whip the audiences into a frenzy with its punchy sound track and phenomenal choreography. The Full Monty

Also coming to The Liverpool Empire in time for a pre-Christmas treat is The Full Monty. Running from November 7^th to 12^th this hilarious and heartfelt production stars Gary Lucy, Joe Absolom and Louis Emerick as out of work steelworkers from Sheffield who find a more creative way to make a living! Cats

Andrew Lloyd-Webber’s extraordinary smash-hit musical Cats, returns to the Liverpool Empire this July. Oliver the Musical

The LHK Youth Theatre are bringing Charles Dickens’ beloved novel to life on a wild adventure through Victorian England. Blood Brothers

Written by Willy Russell, the legendary Blood Brothers returns to The Liverpool Empire on 19^th September for a 13 night run. Jackie The Musical

Take a trip down memory lane, back to the days of no mobile phones or social media, to when teenage girls twisted themselves into knots waiting for the weekly issue to Jackie magazine. Jackie the Musical features a pulsating sound track of 70’s hits as the audience are invited to flip through the pages of quizzes, fashion tips and dating advice as the heroine makes some tough life decisions. That’s Entertainment

This dazzling song and dance extravaganza is coming to The Liverpool Empire on June 14^th for a four night run and promises a non-stop feel-good show featuring Hollywood’s greatest hits.
