9 reasons why you should visit Knowsley Safari’s Enchanted this year

Advertorial

Enchanted is back at Knowsley Safari and the Prescot attraction’s been turned into a magical wonderland once again.

With illuminated animals and a feast of fun, it’s the perfect trip out for everyone in the family.

And here’s 9 reasons why it needs to be on your pre-Christmas ‘to-do’ list.

Santa Panto is new

You can make your trip to Enchanted more special than ever this year after the curtain’s gone up on its new Santa Panto. So as well as the chance to meet Father Christmas in his grotto at Knowsley, you can enjoy a Santa show filled with more jokes than a Christmas cracker, songs, and festive cheer that’ll really get you in the mood for the festive season.

And that means you can grab a drink or get some of the best street food from the converted double decker bus bar. Think of off-the-grill favourites like a Philly Steak Baguette, chicken burgers and hot dogs along with the best fish finger butties, loaded fries, plant-based savoury food, and scrummy desserts.

There are more lights than ever

Enchanted is a magical light trail experience that takes place after the safari closes and is set exclusively within its foot safari. As well as a twinkling light tunnel, you can wander among illuminated animals from camels to wolves, and this year there are some exciting new additions like towering giraffes and playful lion cubs.

The rides are open

Make the most of your Knowsley Enchanted visit with a stop off at the amusements too. Depending on your height, you can take flight with The Bumble Bees or climb aboard the Mini Pirate Ship, the Jungle Dodgems, the Rattlesnake, and more!

Toast your own marshmallows

Nothing says Christmas like a toasted marshmallow, and at Knowsley you get the chance to roast your own fluffy treat around a roaring fire – and that’s included in your admission price.

Write a letter to Santa

If you want to get your requests in to Santa before December 25 now’s the time, because there’s a special post box at Enchanted that’s collecting sacks full of letters ready to give to the man in red.  The Letters to Santa mailbox is in pride of place at the magical trail so your little ones can have the thrill of posting their note to Father Christmas sure in the knowledge that he’ll get it.

It’s great for all the family

Enchanted is one of those Christmas events that everyone’s going to love because it’s got loads of everything! From amazing lights, food and drink, rides and tons of festive Father Christmas activity… it’ll appeal to old and young alike.

You don’t even need to wait until you’re at the end of the attraction to grab a bite to eat and drink because there will be plenty of pitstops along the trail where you’ll be able to enjoy festive foods, and the Knowsley restaurant and café will be open too.

Plenty of time to visit

Not sure when you might be able to make it? Don’t worry. Enchanted Knowsley is on until Monday, December 23, so you’re bound to have an evening free between now and then to experience Knowsley Safari at its most magical and festive best.

Book tickets for Enchanted on the Knowsley Safari website.
