Bongo’s Bingo takes huge party to Pontins, Prestatyn
4 years ago
Bongo’s Bingo is coming back this summer with more amazing outdoor events, epic indoor shows again, wild weekends in Amsterdam and all kinds of other mayhem dropping in across 2021.
And now there is a brand new event from the original and defining bingo rave phenomenon: Bongo’s Bingo School Reunion, featuring an abundance of special guests, pool parties, Donkbusters, Jim’s Quiz, Cooper’s Karaoke, and of course… bingo! It takes place at the iconic Pontins at Prestatyn Central Beach from Friday 24th to Saturday 26th September, and the special guests have just been revealed.
For this very special occasion, it’s a veritable who’s who of stars who have helped add a sprinkle of magic to previous proceedings, from Xmas specials and Ibiza sessions to unannounced sets taking the roof right off. Across the weekend at Pontins, Nadine Coyle, Charlotte Church, Fuse ODG, Basshunter, 5ive, The Cuban Brothers, Pete and Bas, Ultrabeat ft. MC Cover, Lancashire Hotpots, Paul Chuckle, Dene Michael (Black Lace) and a Welcome Party with Goldie Lookin’ Chain all feature.
So for anyone who ever did lines in detention, got caught smoking behind the bike sheds or had a weird crush on their PE teacher, this is the ultimate school reunion party infused with oodles of escapism, nostalgia and purely bonkers fun filtered through Bongo’s Bingo. Early release tickets are on sale from midday Thurs 20th May, and general release from midday Friday May 21st.
There are three packed days and nights of parties, raves and even a quick stroll on the beach. All of the Bongo’s Bingo hosts will be in attendance – including, of course, the co-founder himself, Jonny Bongo – plus many of the dancers and all the special guests. And don’t forget a liberal allocation of celebrity cardboard cut outs, fluffy pink unicorns, crowd renditions of Mr Brightside, dance offs, many hands in the air moments and a mobility scooter or three thrown in for very good measure.
It has been a truly surreal, difficult and testing year for everyone, and now as the country continues to open up the leader of the UK’s experience economy revolution is gearing up for catching up on lost time. Following on from a year of Bongo’s Bingo streams and millions of people watching, it’s now time to get back to the real shows.
Jonny Bongo says:
“We are really feeling it now, it’s palpable how close we are to coming back. We all can’t wait to be on stage again doing what we love. But we know how hard it has been for over a year now, just getting to this moment as the country re-opens has been a very long and difficult time coming. Everyone has been through so much. So we hope we can bring some smiles and lots of fun back at our shows and this huge Pontins party.”
Ticket price includes chalet accommodation for the weekend, with 2 to 6 berth options. Food and drink extra.
