Lockdown’s lifted and loads of companies are heading back into the office.
Let’s face it, it’s been no fun working from home on your own, and it’ll be great to get back into a regular routine and catch up with your workmates.
You could even celebrate being back together with a work’s do – and there’s no better place to have it than at one of Liverpool’s Roxy Ball Rooms, on Rainford Square and Hanover Street.
It’s the home of booze and ball games – and it’s the home of fabulous nights out right in the heart of the city centre.
You can test your ping pong skills, strike out in the bowling alley, tee off for mini-golf or ‘cue’ up for a pool table tournament – different games but all with one thing in common, they’re guaranteed to give you a load of laughs and re-unite the team!
“Roxy Ball Room is a great place for a fun time out with your mates or your family, but it’s also THE best place for your work’s do too,” says Joel Mitchell, brand and development manager. “We’ve got a huge space and we can cater for anything from a group of eight from a city salon, to up to a 100 from a finance firm.
“There’s a variety of games and you can get to know one another all over again while having a laugh – and, unlike some corporate parties where you get stuck next to Keith from Accounting for the entire two hours, you can move around and catch up with anyone you want.
“So if you’re not enjoying someone’s company you can use the excuse that you’ve got a game of ping pong or Shuffleboard lined up and they’re waiting for you to play.”
And he adds: “It takes away the awkwardness. You’d be surprised how the games brings out the competitive natures in everyone, and it’s nice to see a different side to people.”
Priding itself on making sure everyone has an unforgettable experience, there’s a specialist team that will pre-book everything for you and make sure your event is just right for you, and they’re on hand throughout your party to make sure it all goes without a hitch.
There’s a host of party packages whether it’s just drinks you’re after – and you can choose from a packed menu, including cocktails, mocktails, shots, beers, wine and prosecco – or fantastic food with the Roxy Feast.
“That’s basically our entire food menu from stonebaked pizzas or nibbles like skin on chips, mac n cheese bites with chipotle mayo or chicken fillets with maple and bourbon sauce. You can eat it while you play, or you can sit at a table, there’s plenty of places to stop and eat,” adds Joel.
“The feast is based on price per head and we’re confident you won’t be underfed but, if you want more, we’ll bring you more!”
And, just to reassure anyone, there’s still social distancing and Covid measures in place, so everyone can be confident they can stay safe too.
So, to re-cap, Roxy’s got drinks, amazing food, and loads of great games – just don’t forget, it doesn’t matter whether you win or lose – because everybody wins with such a fab night out.
