Quirky Quarter is the perfect place for a work do or catch up with a difference

Quirky Quarter, based on Duke Street, is already a big favourite with families and friends in search of a mind-blowing, brain-boggling day out.
But it’s also the perfect place in the evenings for mates, work-mates and team-mates wanting a night out with a difference.
With dos to plan after so many months of distancing and working from home, Quirky Quarter is offering the chance to book the entire venue for a team takeover.
The destination is packed with puzzling challenges and brain-teasing workouts, oddball photo opportunities and interactive experiences.
Having opened just before the first lockdown, the attraction has consistently been winning five-star reviews ever since. Businesses and groups that book will have the run of the space, making it the perfect location for an unforgettable, off-the-wall occasion.
Summer Edwards, Event Coordinator at Quirky Quarter, says:
“If you’re seeking that unique experience for getting your team back together, we’ve just what you are looking for. From the moment you set foot into the Langdon Library – our traditional reception space – you become immersed in a world where nothing is quite what it seems.
After welcome drinks, guests are free to discover and explore the different zones – the curious corners, the silly spaces, the upside-down places.
Our exhibits are spread across 13,000 square feet, are all on one level, and are fully accessible. Our photocopiers, however, will be locked away.”
“We offer completely flexible catering solutions to suit all budgets and all occasions,” Summer notes. “Organisers can supply their own food and drinks, use their own provider, or put together a package with us and our local partners, who include some of the City’s favourite foodie destinations.”
In addition to offering groups and businesses the chance to hire the space, Quirky Quarter is also launching its own adults-only evenings.
Watch out for more details about the first of these – a murder mystery tryst.
