See the 2022 Grand National Trophy and win tickets for the big day with Randox

With only a few days left ’til we’re under starter’s orders – the countdown to the 2022 Randox Grand National Festival is well and truly on!

After a 3-year wait to get back on course, excitement for the Aintree showpiece event is palpable around the city and, thanks to festival sponsors Randox Health, you’ve still got a chance to get your hands on some of the last remaining tickets.

This Thursday from 10am, Randox Health is giving you the chance to take your photo with the stunning new 2022 Randox Grand National Trophy. Share your pic with the coveted trophy on Instagram and you’ll be in the draw to win a pair of tickets for either Ladies Day on Friday or the big one itself – Grand National Day on Saturday!

Designed in house by Anthony Heaney and crafted by Silver Landscapes, the distinctive design of the 2022 trophy encompasses the innovative technologies of Randox.

A focal point of the trophy is the Randox biochip, a pioneering technology developed to provide the ultimate insight into an individual’s health status with the ability to screen for hundreds of sensitive disease markers simultaneously.

The trophy design also incorporates the DNA double helix symbolising Randox’s genetic testing capabilities for coeliac disease, genetic haemochromatosis, lactose intolerance, inherited cancers and hereditary cardiac conditions. Molecular testing has also played a huge part in response to the COVID-19 pandemic and is the basis of PCR testing.

The design also includes a central blood drop which signifies the diagnostic testing carried out by Randox globally.

Head down to the Randox Health Tithebarn Street Clinic to see the Randox Grand National 2022 Trophy before it heads out to Aintree for The Grand National Festival.

The trophy will be protected by the Irish Guards and is will be available to see from 10am on Thursday 7th April.
