The aqua bikes, with top speeds reaching 90 mph, will demonstrate breathtaking agility and speed, while the F1 powerboats, capable of reaching speeds up to 80 mph, will showcase their raw power and precision on the water.

“We are thrilled that the Powerboat, Waterski and Aqua bike racing will take place on the River Mersey in Liverpool,” said Bob McCarthy, President of Aqua Adrenaline. “This event will bring together some of the country’s top racers, who will battle it out on the water, leaving spectators breathless with their skill and daring manoeuvres. We invite everyone to join us for an unforgettable weekend of heart-pounding action.”

Spectators can anticipate a thrilling atmosphere; alongside the racing on the River Mersey, there will be a variety of displays taking place in Albert Dock, Salthouse Dock and Dukes Dock.

Royal Albert Dock welcomes more than six million visitors each year. Home to some of Liverpool’s top independent restaurants, enjoy dockside dining at venues including Maray, Madre, Luyalita and more. Those looking to make a day of it can also explore an array of world-class attractions including Tate Liverpool and Maritime Museum and take home amemento from the dock’s range of shops.

“We’re delighted to host an exhilarating weekend of high-speed water sports at the dock,” commented Sean Morrison, estate manager at Royal Albert Dock. “The Powerboat, Waterski and Aqua Bike Race promises to showcase the dynamic energy of our historic waterfront and we welcome visitors to soak up the dock’s vibrant atmosphere al fresco style while experiencing this spectacular event.”

Aqua Adrenaline’s Powerboat, Waterski and Aqua bike Race is open to both professional racers and amateurs looking to experience the thrill of high-speed water sports.

If you’ve never witnessed Fly Boarding, you are missing out! Fly Boarding is where a rider stands on a board connected to a long hose; the water is forced into a pair of boots that jets the rider to fly up to 22m (72ft) in the air! Alongside the Flyboarding will be Hovercraft and Aqua bike displays – not to be missed.
