PhilĀ (pictured above) joined Radio Merseyside as a journalist in 2018. Paul SaltĀ will present Total Sport Merseyside (TSM)Ā four nights a week andĀ Giulia BouldĀ will front the show every Wednesday.Ā TheĀ show is billed as “action-packed” with sports chat, coverage and the best local commentaries.
Paul said: āTSM is a great new show that will cover all sports ā and will be much more than just the football. It will reflect everything thatās happening on Merseyside. Our patch is home to world champion boxers, athletics champions, darts champions, Rugby League and the worldās most famous steeplechase ā to name but a few ā all of which will be talked about and celebrated.ā
Giulia added:Ā āIt is my dream come true to be Radio Merseysideās first full-time femaleĀ dedicated sports journalist ā presenting and producing the programme.Ā To cover this patch is hugely exciting ā in my opinion itās the capital of sport, with so many positive stories to reflect and so many brilliant local stars to champion.ā

Sean StylesĀ is moving to a new slot at the weekend. He said: “Iāve been at Radio Merseyside for a lot of years, doing the job I love. Merseyside lives for the weekends and Iām thrilled to be a part of Radio Merseysideās exciting future, spending every Saturday and Sunday from 1000 until 1400, having a great time, Ā with the best listeners in the world.ā
