North West Ambulance Service want a chat with you about how to improve their services

At the Liverpool Community Listening Event, North West ambulance Service will be listening to you!

North West Ambulance Service (NWAS) want to speak to members of the public so they can improve their services and make sure they meet the needs of the communities.

So they want to invite you, the people living and working in the city, to share your views and experiences of the 999 – emergency service, patient transport service (PTS) and NHS 111.

The event is being hosted by their Patient Engagement team and from 1pm to 4pm at the PAL Multi Cultural Centre, in Toxteth. You can share your thoughts and hear about their plans for keeping you safe during Winter, how their services can help you, and take part in an interactive Q&A session with some of their senior leaders.

You don’t have to have been a patient. The event is open to everyone with an interest in their local healthcare services including carers, NHS professionals or community leaders. 

Head of Communications and Patient Engagement, Julie Treharne said:

“Our communities across the North West are diverse and all have different needs but one thing they all have in common is wanting an effective, responsive ambulance service when there is an emergency.

“Our service covers the whole of the North West and one size does not fit all, so we feel it is important to get out and meet the people we serve to understand their expectations and what their concerns are. In doing so, we can make sure we are an ambulance service everyone can be proud of.

“Not only is there an opportunity to speak to those on the frontline and behind the scenes, we’ll also throw in a free lunch and a brew or two.”
