Liverpool’s vibrant Ropewalks district welcomes a new culinary destination, Voyagers, paying homage to the city’s rich maritime legacy.
Voyagers opened its doors this week with a menu that gives diners a mix of globally inspired dishes with a local twist.
From smoked venison flatbread to classic fish and chips, each dish is crafted with care and creativity, offering a delightful fusion of tastes and textures.

Located at 38 Parr Street, the restaurant boasts a 70-seater dining area complemented by a 100-seater bar, providing the perfect ambiance for both intimate dinners and lively gatherings.
Led by head chef Jake Parry, the open kitchen at Voyagers allows diners to witness the culinary magic firsthand.
Jake’s innovative approach to cooking shines through in every bite, with dishes like the Sticky Glazed Short Rib, which incorporates locally sourced Black Lodge IPA, showcasing his culinary expertise and dedication to quality.

Jake, who has previously worked at The Woodcote Hotel in Hooton and Pinion in Prescot, said:
“I’m incredibly excited to finally be able to showcase what we have to offer at Voyagers. The team and I have worked hard to create a menu that not only gives diners the opportunity to explore new tastes through our small plates menu, but also enjoy old favourites that we all love.
“Liverpool is constantly evolving in terms of its food and beverage scene and it’s fantastic to be a part of its story – I’m confident that we’re bringing something new and exciting that will eventually become a ‘go-to’ eating spot for both locals and visitors.”

As part of their experience at Voyagers, which is located inside new hotel The Halyard at Ropewalks Liverpool, guests can choose from a range of bespoke cocktails, including a selection created using locally made Lost Dock Rum and the specially distilled Halyard Gin made by Turncoat, a small batch gin distillery in Liverpool’s Baltic Triangle.
An extensive wine list includes options from across the globe, while local craft beer Black Lodge Pilsener is on offer, too.

Curtis Goodwin, Restaurant and Bar Manager at Voyagers, said:
“We firmly believe that we have brought something unique to Liverpool.
“Whether you’re enjoying a night out as a couple or with a group of friends, grabbing a quick bite before a day of exploring the city, or looking for a spot to kick off your evening, we have something for everyone.
“We’re looking forward to what the next year, and beyond, has in store for Voyagers.”
