The Liverpool-based band hailing from the Wirral are set to headline their first hometown gig with support from two rising bands, Yur Mum (London) and Again Again (Liverpool).

G.G.W.G. formed at the end of lockdown and emerged from the Antipop Records Liverpool punk scene. The lineup consists of Dean Tyler, JJ Mulligan (Elmo and the Styx), Alec Joyce (The Vermin Suicides/Antipop Records), and guitarist Charlie Beaver.G.G.W.G.’s music nods to a variety of influences including grunge, punk, and funk. Their genre-fluid post-rock sound is characterised by pounding drums, solid basslines, sonic guitars, and melodic harmonies. One review likened their sound to a mix of “Wire crossed with The Beach Boys”.
