Indian Tiffin Room on Duke Street set to become a local favourite
6 months ago
Indian Tiffin Room, which opened its doors in January on Duke Street, has swiftly established itself as Liverpool’s go-to spot for Indian street food.
Guests have been raving about their dining experiences at Indian Tiffin Room, describing the food as ‘phenomenal’ and ‘out of this world.’
Located on the site of the former Mayur restaurant, the 102-cover venue has already welcomed over 5,000 diners from across the North West, all eager to sample their authentic Indian street food inspired by the vibrant streets of India.
In its first 12 weeks, Indian Tiffin Room sold over 2,300 of their signature Dosas, a South Indian pancake-style dish made from rice, lentils, or semolina, traditionally enjoyed at any meal.
The Butter Chicken (chicken tikka in a tangy tomato-based sauce) has emerged as the most popular dish, while the Chicken Lollipop tops the list of small plates.
Indian Tiffin Room also boasts an impressive selection of signature and bespoke cocktails. Among the non-alcoholic options, the Nimbu Lychee has become a crowd favourite, while the Indian Summer Passion leads the way on the signature cocktail list.

Repeat custom and positive word of mouth endorsement has ensured that the venue is bustling with our covers showing healthy growth across the board. Our customer feedback has been nothing short of spectacular, and the reviews have been glowing, resulting in increased advance bookings.”
Suresh Raje Urs, Co-founder, said:
“With sister sites in Cheadle, Leeds and Manchester, we knew Liverpool was a perfect fit to grow the brand. We are delighted with the warm welcome we have had here and are delighted to be able to showcase our authentic Indian street food as part of the busy Duke Street leisure scene.”
Indian Tiffin Room food is an exciting amalgamation of various regional dishes which are very popular in different parts of India. The menu is healthy, less influenced by heavily flavoured spices, and filled with the authentic flavours of India.
