The Liverpool City Region Community Environment Fund is now accepting applications for green projects from across the Liverpool City Region.
As part of this crowdfunding programme, eligible initiatives can apply for up to £30,000 for projects that improve the Liverpool City Region’s environment and encourage long-term behavioural change in sustainability.
To find out more, interested residents can join an online workshop on 11th June from 12 -1pm. The workshop will cover:
- The funding available and how to apply
- Advice on creating and running a successful crowdfunding campaign
- Specialised project support in breakout rooms
The workshop is free to join; just click here to register.
Liverpool City Region Combined Authority and community fundraising platform Spacehive are keen to hear from residents who have an innovative, sustainable idea for their local area. This includes projects focussed on improving air quality, enhancing green spaces, improving local wildlife and biodiversity, and reducing carbon and energy use.
No fundraising experience is necessary – 65% of Spacehive creators are starting a community project for the first time. Spacehive assists project creators with online workshops, 1-2-1 support and resources, providing advice on everything from project costs to campaign promotion.
Plus, creating a crowdfunding project with Spacehive means that individuals, businesses, and organisations can also pledge funds towards the projects in addition to the Community Environment Fund, which means that projects can meet their fundraising goals easier and quicker.
