Could you be the fairest of them all? St Helens Theatre Royal search for leading lady to play Snow White

St Helens Theatre Royal is on the hunt for the perfect Snow White to star in its Christmas pantomime, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.

Regal Entertainments Ltd, known for its popular seasonal shows, is holding open auditions next week at St Helens Theatre Royal for talented performers who can act, sing, and dance.

The successful candidate will join an all-star cast for the show, running from 30 November 2024 to 12 January 2025.

Auditions are set for 10.00am on Friday, 12 July, at the theatre.

Candidates must be aged 16 or over, based in the City Region or have local accommodation, and available from 18 November for rehearsals and the entire show run. Auditioning actors need to prepare a ballad, an up-tempo song of their choice, and a monologue that will be emailed in advance.

For over 20 years, Regal Entertainments Ltd, led by the mother-daughter team Jane Joseph and Chantelle Nolan, has brought high-quality productions to the North-West. The company produces four annual pantomimes and is committed to employing local talent.

Chantelle Nolan, Panto director and St Helens Theatre Manager, said:

“We’re looking for a triple threat performer – one who is equally brilliant at acting, singing and dancing – to join a fantastic all-star cast who will be staging what is going to be the best panto in the region.
