Expect spectacular visuals – such as a dazzling light and lazer show and 3D screens – alongside the iconic soundscape of their impressive catalogue of compositions when the world’s greatest tribute to Jeff Lynne and the Electric Light Orchestra (ELO) comes to New Brighton next year.
THE ELO Show is back on the road with a stunning new stage production, featuring a band of amazing rock musicians, augmented by an orchestral string section playing hit after hit from ELO’s vast back catalogue.
Having honed the performance over a number of tours and selling out venues all over the UK and Europe, this show gets bigger every year, and the new light and laser show and 3D visuals are modeled on ELO’s own touring show design.
It even includes the huge spaceship which featured on their seminal ‘Out of the Blue’ album and which came to symbolise the original band’s futuristic, quadrophonic sound on record and in their live performances.
With beautiful harmonies from six singers, string section and world class band, The ELO Show really is as close as you will get to the Real Thing and it is coming to New Brighton’s Floral Pavilion Theatre on Friday 2nd May 2025, with tickets now on sale.
Of course, expect to hear the songs that set ELO apart such as Don’t Bring Me Down, Telephone Line, Sweet Talkin Woman, Turn to Stone, Wild West Hero, The Diary of Horace Wimp and – it goes almost without saying – the legendary Mr. Blue Sky.
But there is also the promise of a surprise or two… don’t miss out on this fantastic night of nostalgia and classic tunes, get your tickets now priced £32 from the Floral Pavilion Box Office or website
