The Ivy Liverpool announces official opening date

This afternoon, The Ivy Liverpool Brasserie marked the opening of its reservation lines in spectacular fashion with a giant vault dropped right into the heart of Liverpool City Centre.

The Ivy vault attracted a large crowd of eager locals, each hoping to ‘crack the code’ and win a prize ahead of the Brasserie’s much-anticipated opening.

The giant vault was manned by ‘security guards’ who helped guests select their very own mystery prize from among hundreds, each hidden in an opulent gold envelope.

Opening on Castle Street just in time for the festive season, The Ivy Liverpool Brasserie will open its doors on 19 November and will be home to a beautiful 180-capacity main restaurant-bar, with an accompanying 14-person dazzling private dining room for events, special occasions and large parties.

Located in the magnificent Grade I listed former Bank of England building, the brasserie is now available to book for all occasions, and is the perfect all-day dining destination, offering breakfast, brunch to late-night cocktails and a classic Sunday roast – the perfect set up for the week ahead.

Residents turned out in crowds to have a go at cracking the code to the vault, with a queue forming for them to have their turn at winning. From the grand prize of a whole year’s worth of dining to free glasses of The Ivy Cuvée, as well as gift vouchers, those who took part will be able to redeem their prize at the new Brasserie when it opens next month.
