Sefton Park Palm House – November 15-17
One of the most beautiful settings in the city, the popular Pop-Up Winter Market returns to the Palm House over three days with makers, bakers, ceramicists, artists and live music. There’s also a food market selling artisan pies, preserves, cakes and gin as well as hot food. Friday 2pm to 7pm, and Saturday & Sunday 10.30am to 5pm.

Bombed Out Church – November 16 & 17
Saturday and Sunday at the Bombed Out Church will be all about local creators when the Makers Market returns for two days of festive shopping, live music and free crafting for kids. On from 10am to 4pm, you can start checking off your list for family and friends, and even your four-legged mate because there’ll be a stall selling natural doggie treats.

Strawberry Field – November 23
There’s loads going on at Strawberry Field in the run-up to Christmas and on Saturday November 23 it’ll be opening those famous red gates for its annual festive craft fair. Some lovely work from local crafters will be on sale between 10am and 4pm and Recycles Merseyside will be there offering free bike checks, repairs and demos.

The Lake House, Waterloo – November 23 & 24
The Lake House has one of the most gorgeous locations overlooking Crosby Marine Lake and on Saturday November 23 & Sunday November 24 it will be hosting the Simply Vibrant Christmas Makers Market. It’s on from 10am to 3pm on both days, admission’s free and there’ll be stalls showcasing over 30 makers.

Formby Hall – November 24
Head to Formby Hall golf resort & spa on Sunday November 24 and you’ll have a good chance of ticking off your to-buy list because it’s holding a Christmas Market featuring more than 50 local businesses. Between 12pm and 3pm, it’s promising something for everyone from handmade crafts and beautiful art to delicious food and drink.

The Art Quarter at Metquarter – November 30 & December 1
The Art Quarter in Metquarter is a great place to find art and creative gifts all year round and now it’s making pressie buying even easier with a two-day Winter Market. You’ll be able to browse an array of stalls between 11am and 5pm on the Saturday and Sunday, so it’s a chance to find something unique and support small businesses.

Royal Albert Dock – December 1
The ever-popular Makers Market returns to the Albert Dock for one more time before the big day with stalls all around one of Liverpool’s most historic attractions creating a super-Christmassy atmosphere. It’s on between 11am and 4pm and you’ll be spoiled for choice with a pop-up artisan market, festive treats, entertainment and food.

Buyers Club – December 5
If you thought Buyers Club in Hardman Yard was just for amazing pasta and pizza, then think again because on Thursday December 5 its Christmas Market is back for a second year with handcrafted gifts. It starts at 3pm and there’ll be a DJ on from 4pm as well as mulled wine, hot choc and Buyers favourite cacio e pepe beans.

Bluecoat on School Lane has a fabulous creative community and this is the perfect time of year to showcase their talents. In addition to an exhibition where you can buy works from the gallery, on Saturday December 7 between 11am and 4pm it will host the Bluecoat Arts Market so you can treat someone special to a piece of art.

Good Markets have become a really popular date at venues across the region, and less than two weeks to go to Christmas Day they’re coming to Aintree Racecourse. Head to the Rum & Ginger Bar between 11am and 4pm on Saturday December 14 and you’ll sort any remaining Christmas shopping and maybe pick up a few goodies for yourself while you’re there.
