Birkdale Village is thrilled to announce the return of its much-loved Christmas Fayre, a magical event that promises to be the highlight of the festive season.

With a rich history of attracting over 10,000 visitors, this year’s Fayre is set to be bigger and better than ever before!

What’s New for 2024?

• Live Stage Performances: A brand-new stage will take centre stage on Alma Road, next to the village Christmas Tree. Throughout the day, enjoy a full schedule of live entertainment and performances guaranteed to get you into the festive spirit.
• Christmas Market on Weld Parade: Discover the brand-new festive marquee adorned with stunning festoon lighting. Browse unique gifts and treasures from external traders offering perfect Christmas presents.

A Fun-Packed Day for All Ages

This year’s Fayre offers something for everyone:

• Father Christmas and Squirrel the Shetland Pony: Look out for Father Christmas and his special four-legged friend as they roam the village spreading Christmas cheer. Great opportunity to get your Christmas photos taken
• Fairground Rides: Thrilling rides for all ages will be located throughout the village.
• Handmade Festive Features: Marvel at the uniquely hand-knitted Father Christmas, lovingly crafted by the Southport Hookers.
• Festive Food and Drink: Enjoy delicious treats, mulled wine, mince pies, and much more from external stall holders and beloved village traders.
• Raffles and Surprises: Don’t miss the chance to win fabulous prizes!

The Grand Finale

At 5:00 PM, gather around for the highly anticipated Christmas Tree Light Switch-On. This year’s stunning tree stands over 20 feet tall, generously sponsored by Natalie Silcock and her family, with the tree supplied by Rainford Christmas Trees.
