Liverpool the wait is almost over! Boojum, the cult-favourite Mexican restaurant brand, is officially opening its doors in the city next week.
Boojum Liverpool will open on Bold Street this Wednesday, 11 December, and they’re kicking things off with an incredible giveaway: free burritos for the first 300 customers!
That’s right – from 12pm on opening day, the first 300 people will get to indulge in Boojum’s famous Mexican flavours, completely free.
Think larger-than-life portions, fresh ingredients, and a taste explosion that has earned Boojum a legion of die-hard fans across the UK and Ireland.
Since its debut in 2007, Boojum has redefined fast-casual dining with its unbeatable menu of customisable burritos, bowls, nachos, tacos, and freshly made chips and salsas. With no microwaves or freezers in sight, everything at Boojum is fresh, flavourful, and made with care.
Liverpool’s new 50-seat restaurant boasts a striking, vibrant interior featuring bold colours, bespoke murals, and lively decor that perfectly captures the Boojum fiesta vibe. Expect a buzzing atmosphere, bright furnishings, and a passionate crew serving up legendary Mexican food with a side of personality.
Boojum isn’t just a restaurant; it’s a movement. Known for its loyal fanbase – affectionately called “Boojum Addicts” – the brand inspires rave reviews across social media:
- @Danikaprim_: “So much food in just one bowl, I’m so full but so happy.”
- @missxhanabana: “It was absolutely massive, so full now! The drinks were also really good.”
- @themindofamammy: “Boojum is fire.”
- @gfa028: “The GOAT.”
Not only will Boojum bring bold flavours to Bold Street, but the new location is also adding 25 new jobs to Liverpool’s thriving food scene.
David Maxwell, Boojum CEO, said:
“We are really excited to open in Liverpool. Bold Street has such a great mix of world cuisines, we think we will fit right in. Liverpool was actually the most requested location for a new restaurant outside of Ireland so we are delighted to give the people what they want; Boojum Liverpool!”
Boojum has become known for its unbeatable value for students, thanks to its famously massive portions and a loyalty programme that keeps fans coming back for more. Liverpool’s students, you’ve been warned – this is the burrito bar that could change your life.
The buzz is real: Boojum’s recent openings in Leeds, Nottingham and Birmingham saw hundreds of fans queuing on day one, and Liverpool is set to be no different. Whether you’re a die-hard Boojum addict or new to the brand, the countdown to December 11 has officially begun.
