Royal Albert Dock Liverpool’s brand new for this year Christmas Courtyard is now open, offering the perfect festive destination to get into the Christmas spirit, with magical hourly snowfall to create an enchanting winter wonderland setting.
Open on selected dates throughout the month until 30th December, visitors can wander through the giant bow-wrapped Christmas hearts which provide the perfect selfie backdrop, and discover the secret, snowy market square.
Explore a selection of Scandinavian-inspired market stalls offering festive flavours and unique gifts, from a selection of the dock tenants and independent sellers from the Makers Market.
Head to Francie’s Focaccia & Coffee to try their new version of their best-selling hot chocolate, complete with a Nutella rim and white chocolate and orange chocolate flakes, or one of their Christmas special focaccias, filled with turkey, cheese and cranberry & rocket.
For a hot toddy that promises to warm you up, Madre’s cranberry mulled wine is a must, even better when soaked up with their moreish Mexican nachos topped with fresh guacamole.
Those looking to do some Christmas shopping can browse Nature’s Treasure for a beautiful Christmas crystal, gemstone bracelet, or candle, or explore The Nest’s selection of artistic gifts which include Taylor Swift prints, colouring books and more.
In partnership with Makers Market, visitors can also explore some of the North West’s finest independents, offering indulgent homemade cakes from Cake Up North, flavoursome Lebanese street food from Camel’s Hump and children’s books paired in a sweet treat bundle from The Curious Cat Bookshop.
To add to the Christmas setting, the square is festively dressed with large illuminated Christmas trees, festoon lighting, and outdoor seating for visitors to relax and soak up the atmosphere.
